Lol not at all. Darts was not phased by Zorc/Bakura because the Great beast possessed greater powers than Zorc. He was the ultimate reincarnation of evil, NOT Zorc.
@@marcellusjohnson9439 wrong Dartz said Bakura/Zorc got in his way back then to obtain the pharaohs soul. Meaning he was too strong for him to confront, and the Leviathan couldn’t beat the Egyptian gods while Zorc did with ease.
@Film Goblin I’ve debated this same argument many times on forums like this and debunked every single one that states Zorc was stronger than the Leviathan. Dartz didn’t interfere because the pharaoh was focused on Bakura; meaning Dartz did not need to interfere as HE KNEW HIS TIME WOULD COME; Presumably from the Oricalchos which had the power to predict future events with pinpoint accuracy. As for your already debunked rant about Zorc being stronger than the Leviathan; the Egyptian Gods were powered by the same infinite strength that was used to to destroy Zorc except THEY WEREN’T COMBINED INTO HORAKYTY. With Zorc, they were only fueled by their unique normal powers. The Leviathan had 2 forms; a body which could be destroyed by the power of the eternal light of Horus (the Egyptian Gods not physically combined together, but their power working the same way) and his shadow form which could ONLY BE DESTROYED BY THE PHARAOH OVERCOMING THE DARKNESS IN HIS MIND. I can go further and longer, so if you’d like to debate further we can love. Have an amazing day 😌
@@marcellusjohnson9439 Dartz and the Leviathan are filler and have zero real impact on the over arching story. They're not even in the manga. They were created for a trash filler arc that does little more than contradict previously established lore and create numerous plot holes. A filler arc that is so flimsy with its own rules and has virtually no real power scaling simply for the sake of having a big scary boss monster with a ludicrous and nonsensical attack number. So no Dartz is not more powerful than Thieve King Bakura, and no the Leviathan is most definitely not more powerful than Zorc
@Hylian Glitchmobber Thank you for your commentary. Albeit, you are echoing the same rhetoric that I have debunked many times. The anime is simply another adaptation of Yu-gi-oh that is PURPOSELY created different from the manga with having a more commercially-centered aim where as the manga was created for underground entertainment purposes. As for your statement around the comparison between the Great Leviathan and Zorc I’ve already explained what makes the Leviathan stronger in the aforementioned comment. The Leviathan’s bodily form is equal to Zorc’s bodily form which is why it could be defeated by the Egyptian Gods. The Egyptian Gods combined the power of all the captured souls which represents the power of Horus (HORAKYTY). However, this still wasn’t enough to take down the Great Leviathan because as the writers have stated the shadow form of the great beast cannot be defeated under conventional standards of “sealing evil away”. Instead, it had to be sealed within the mind and heavenly plain of Atem whose soul is representative of the Creator of Light’s power. Zorc, on the other hand, had a defeating mechanism in place. He is sealed by the name of the pharaoh and power of his God handle (Horus). In closing, you may continue to sprout the same rhetoric as you wish, but I have already eclipsed others and just once again reinforced my argument with support and information gathered from the series and the topics surrounding this. Now, I dare you to respond ☺️
😂🤣 I watched the episode where Dartz shows Atem battling Bakura in the village and I tried searching for Dartz in the crowd but I couldn't spot him there 😂🤣
Sure. His voice fits very well. But I prefer him and the entire duel in the original Japanese dub. It's probably my favorite duel like that in the original Yu-Gi-Oh! anime (before GX).
@@undyingsoul3949The dialogue in the JP dub is definitely much better. But you can't deny that the English VAs actually had quality talent back in the late 90s and early 2000s.
That vision was of the actual past witnessed by Dartz, not Atem's memory replay. Notice how Diabound gets knocked down by Obelisk instead of matching him with the Blue-Eyes blast he had absorbed for the replay. But yes, it would've been cool to watch how everything originally played out instead of having a rpg shadow game themed around it.
Dartz waited 5000 more years because bakura/zorc would have destroyed him even if the great leviathan was at %100 strength. Zorc literally manhandled the 3 gods cards and exodia.
Meanwhile the Leviathan was still just as much of a threat because it had an astral form that not even the Egyptian Gods could erase. So while it was definitely less powerful than Zorc, it evidently had greater longevity to make up for it.
Loved how Diabound made an appearance before it was properly introduced in the final season of the series. It was my most favorite monster, and deserves an archetype of it's own!

Not gonna lie, this was a really fun way to give us a preview to the final season. It was interesting to see Dartz in the past
It would have been great to see dart again on the final season
Yami Bakura probably smile from inside Yami Yugi's Puzzle when he heared Dartz telling the story of Egypt's past

Missed opportunity,
Wayne Grayison as Dartz made this scene incredible

Dartz was the best villain Atem ever had
I agree and the most powerful and dangerous. Bakura could never lol
He was not the most powerful but Yami Marik was by far the best villain in yugioh
But Dartz was not just a local threat but a global threat 😮😮
Atem also sacrificed his Sacred Guardians to stop Bakura and Zorc.
Not just that but he himself said it loud and clear that the great power of the shadows are in his hands or in other words black magick or dark magick
I've waited a long time to see this clip its epic

Does this mean Dartz knows Atem name?
I wouldn't be surprised that he actually does know his name
I don’t think so, when Atem sealed away his identity, his name was erased from the minds of everyone, Dartz included.
Yeah. It’s Adem.
Yami would 100% have broken the series and not even had to do that memory world arc if Dartz just didn’t lisp his name
I don't think so. In the JP dub Dartz calls him "Nameless Pharaoh" repeatedly, and even in the English dub Dartz just calls him "Pharaoh".
Dartz basically said he didn't want the Smoke with Yami Bakura/Zorc
