In this video, we're diving into the essential treatment aims for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
Firstly, we need to focus on inflammation modulation. It's evident that inflammation plays a pivotal role in IBD, as the name itself suggests. To tackle this, three potent anti-inflammatory herbs stand out: turmeric (curcumin), Boswellia, and wormwood. There are so many additional herbs that may make a play here to help reduce inflammation in the body.
Secondly, addressing a dysregulated immune system is imperative. The connection between immunity and inflammation is inseparable. The big question here is why. Why has the immune system reacted in such a way. This is true root cause medicine which will be different for each and every person I see.
Last treatment aim that I have for most of my IBD patients is to rebalance the microbiome. Lower diversity in the gut microbiome is a hallmark of IBD. Multiple factors, from early-life influences to diet and lifestyle, can contribute to this imbalance. Restoring balance involves prebiotics, polyphenols, probiotics, herbal medicines and dietary modifications.
Functional stool testing provides valuable insights into the bacterial imbalances and biochemical markers that guide my interventions. The ultimate goal is to support the microbiome's ability to produce butyrate, reduce pathogenic bacteria, fungal overgrowths and parasites thus reducing the reliance on supplements in the long term.

My son and I both developed IBD due to high levels of EMF toxicity and mold exposure. You are brilliant and focused on health and not sick care. My son is 13 and suffered greatly with all of the associated symptoms of EMF and mold exposure. The digestive aspect was the most difficult part.

Hi Todd. I asked a question under your recent Oregano video about dosing. Can you please please answer? I wanted to know how 7.5ml twice a day of the oregano leaf extract would equal to the 120ml total per month that you mentioned in the video. Thanks.

Hi Todd. I just saw your response under that video. Just a quick follow up question, my tincture is a 1:2 ratio of the oregano leaf extract only, should I still take 7.5ml of it twice daily?

That would be 120ml divided by 30 days for oregano leaf 1:2 only 😊
