Saint Michael Archangel,
defend us in battle,

Sometimes we panic and forget the treasures of our Faith. I complained to God about being pestered by the devil. This was not pleasing to God, so these words came to me from Scripture: "You have a guard. Go and secure it as well as you know how." I am writing this in Easter Week, so you know where these words are to be found in the Scriptures. Our 'guard' is made up of many individual helps; not just our angels, but also the consolations of our Faith -- the sacraments, etc.
We want to keep Jesus in our hearts; but we also want to share Jesus with others. We remember to seal the 'stone' over our hearts with Jesus' Life: Divine graces applied. This meditation can go on and on...
This is a basic truth that is memorable and shows faith in Jesus in whom we should trust always.
FAITH OVER FEARS, WORSHIP OF GOD OVER WORRY. Block Satan and his demons and influence at every opportunity. Pick Heaven supporting choices and kindness. Protect as much of Christ's Kingdom as is possible and glorify God often.

Truly I think those with a devotion to St. Michael, for the right reasons, are shown mighty things of God when it be the Holy Will of God.

I love St. Michael. I have been praying to him daily for years, a
long with our family prayer, Our Father, Hail Marys and 3 Commission of the Care of Soul and Body (from Fr. Chad Ripperger's Deliverance prayers) and, of course, our Gaurdian Angel prayers. All in all, it's about 45 minutes, give or take, for family prayer and then private prayers before bed. This is truly nothing, as far as time: 45 minutes of prayer/daily. I do my best to pray or talk toy Gaurdian Angel, Mother Mary, Jesus and God. My next BIG prayer will be the rosary. I am studying Montfort's books on the Rosary. Anyone interested in the history of the Rosary, given to St. Dominic from Mother Mary, should begin with Montfort's works. God Bless you all.
St Michael is so cool. I think about him a lot, I can't imagine what it would be like to see him strike down Satan.

Thank you for this wonderful instructive homily! I like how he illumined all the parts of the Bible, early Christian writings, and the encyclopedic analysis of St. Thomas Aquinas to show where St. Michael appears - and what the Church teaches it means. Also, St. Joan of Arc said St. Michael appeared to her and instructed her. Also, there is a church in a cave (in Europe I believe) where St. Michael had appeared to a village - - and that's why they built a church there.

Jesus, we enthrone You. I love You Jesus, Mary and Joseph. I praise You oh God even in my sufferings. For it is when I am weak that Your Strength is made visible. It is through my darkest hours that Your Light shines bright in me. Help me to St. Michael, shield me from all spiritual attacks. Be my mighty guard when I can't stand on my feet and especially when my strength fails me. I pray this in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, Amen.

As a Catholic Christian and a Knight of Columbus,
I’m fully aware of the presence of Saint Michael the archangel because he’s my guardian angel and patron Saint. People can argue with another person but they can’t argue with God and any of his angels especially Saint Michael the archangel. Why? Because God and his angels are powerful. Yesterday I did day 1 of the Saint Michael the archangel novena because my older brother was trying to provoke me and agitate me. And I asked Saint Michael the archangel to intercede for me that my older brother will stop provoking me and leave me in peace.
This is a great story about St. Michael. Unlike pop culture super hero like Iron Man and Wonder Woman, I consider him to be a real superhero. The secular world understands the individual’s need for super heroes and it seeks to fill our children’s imagination with their own version. Because of this problem, I wrote and illustrated a comic about a modern true apparition of St. Michael that happened during the Korean War. Jesus is the King of Kings and Mary is the Queen Mother. In Genesis God ordained and foretold that there would be enmity between the serpent and the woman (Virgin Mary) and her seed (Jesus) and she (the Mother of God) will crush the serpent. Christ is our redeemer and Mary Queen of Heaven plays an important role in yours and my salvation by guiding us to Christ. The Devil trembles at her presence.

If Mary's Son was to inherit an everlasting kingdom, this implies that Mary was to become literally "Queen-Mother" of His Kingdom, for we know for a fact that in ancient Israel, the mother of a king usually received the title and role of "Queen-Mother." specifically from the Davidic kingdom onwards
Because the kings of Israel normally had numerous wives, the mother of the king was chosen to be queen of the kingdom, due to her singular familial relationship with the king. The "Gabirah" or "Great Lady" of the kingdom assisted the king in the ruling of the kingdom in her noble office as the queen mother (2 Kings 11:3, 1 Kings 2:19; 1 Kings 15:9-13; Jer 13:18-20). Bathsheba wasn't as pure as Our Lady. So If Jesus is the king of Kings and Lord of Lord's of Heaven n Earth what does that make her mother?
That's why one needs to understand the New testament in light of the Old Testament. God bless
I see the main point of this homily as sound and so is much of its side-points, but some I would not agree with, these are quibbles at best though. God bless you father, you do His work in helping to preserve abd restore the traditions of the Church and Her deep wisdom that would elsewise be unappreciated and unutilized. In this time of great trial and rising opposition and even persecution, we need to use all that God has put at our disposal to restore the Church and evangelize the world. May God guide us in this great endeavor we must rise to meet. Through the same Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior. Amen.

I really didn't get your point: you advocate our going back saying Saint Michael'prayer at the end of masses or are you saying it's unnecessary due to all our other weapons? This hasn't come out clear.

To say that God tempts us to sin is blasphemy. God wouldn’t command us to not sin & then by the same hand tempt us to sin. He may allow us to be tested, but He does NOT tempt us, nor shall we tempt the Lord our God. You need to articulate your context better. The Holy Spirit doesn’t share vacancy with demons, so how can a Christian be possessed?
Demons need permission from God for possession to take place. That's how.
