Great sermon.But isn't it strange that if Saint Rose lived today, because Father said she stayed in her room since seven years old to pray can you just picture of today's society reaction? They would have doctor's therapy councillors and God knows what else declaring her mad and taken to a mental hospital.
Life is so strange. Saint Rose died at 17 and didn't seem to have much of a hard life compared to other saints etc as far as I can tell.She must have been picked especially by Heaven to grace this world for a short time.
As for the anti_ Christ I have no doubt he is coming ,or even here,but if we all stick to our faith we will be able to see him for what he really is.

brecans Catholics please stop idolatry. In old testament GOD forbad the israelites from making statues to represent him. Therefore God will never allow people to make statues to represent his son and then worship them.
And GOD will never think it is ok to make statues of a mortal woman and then worship her and her statues. It is all idolatry. Many christians said that JESUS gave them warnings in visions and near death experiences to warn the catholics to stop their idolatry or else they will end up in hell and he also showed them hellfire and there some of them said they saw pope john paul the second and other catholics in hell for idolatery.

Just like the story of St. Rose and the witch is this story which occurred 100 yrs ago in the Western Indian state of Gujarat: A satanic witch doctor kept the tribals under his control by walking on water, fire and nails on a full moon night. A Priest told him to stop exploiting the tribals. He told the priest to stop him if he could. Although I am not Catholic. I am a daughter of TMH I believe saints as the cloud of witnesseses prays for us. I do not pray to statures or pictures of TMH . I do feel the prayers of Saints and those WHO are praying for us to stay strong and keep the Faith.

Whatever Frederick's flaws, and this priest makes it sound like learning Arabic is a mortal sin, he did return Jerusalem to Latin rule again for a brief time after Salahadin died. This homily was given apparently while Barack Obama was President (I am writing in 2020) and this priest was trying to play on the fears of his audience during that time and is an excellent example why people and especially priests should not mix theology and prophecy with their own private political opinions based on the news of the day.

Would the biblical anti christ want to live a mirrored life of the biblical savior if he/she would want to be seen as an equal or above the creator to prove the war he/she created in the kingdom of heaven was justified? this will always be the case when you believe God to be of your mental level. If you let God wear your shoes then you're pinning Him down to your human level. God knows what is inside our hearts. If He sees Catholic praying in front of an image, being God and an all knowing God, He knows how sincere a Catholic prayers would be. He knows that though one is praying in front of an image but the heart and mind belongs to Him. So, jealousy and hatred resides only in human mind but God's power cannot be fathomed by anybody else.If you say, It is written in the Bible, Catholic would also say we have the tradition. Bible plus Tradition makes the Catholic Faith. By the way, who made the Bible? Who did compile and painstakingly transcribed the writings in scroll until they were printed in text?
