Thank you so much, Father! This is the best and clearest explanation that I have ever heard on how to live the Sacred Heart Devotion! I often wondered what it was about. I sometimes run in to people who say to me they are devoted to the Sacred Heart. However, in my own stupidity, I never thought to ask them, what exactly does this mean, and not one of them ever explained it further. I’m wondering if they even know themselves. It seemed to me to be just another devotion without any effort on the devotee’s part. Thanks to your homily, I will now explain it to everyone I know and I will share this homily with them. I have read different articles, but never fully understood them. Now, finally, I get it ! Wow! The light finally went on (fully). I already do many of the things you explained in your homily, but I see that I need to improve and many other areas, too. Thank you again, dear Father for such a clear, concise explanation, which will now help me to not only love the Sacred Heart of Jesus, but more importantly, to LIVE the Sacred Heart devotion. I’m so delighted to finally know & understand what I must do better in order to give back to Jesus my full love in reparation for all those who treat him with indifference and as, “A dead object.” May God have mercy on us all !!
