No, it is to dedicate yourself to Jesus so that you may have a closer relationship with God. John 14: 6-7 states, "Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him." Although the Virgin is blessed among women, the Bible is clear that Mary’s unique position as the mother of Jesus did not give her any more access to God (or Jesus) than another believer in Christ is given. Jesus addressed this in Luke 11:27-28 which reads, "As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.”
He [Jesus] replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it by emphasizing that it’s more blessed to be a follower of Christ than to be the mother of Christ." Also, many followers of those times and even today did not and do not have access to a rosary, pray to the Virgin for intercession, or wear a metal. Did and does this make Jesus less accessible? They are only tools that help in your holy life, but not a vital means to access Jesus.

Here is an encounter with a woman who is attracted, adoring, and envious of Jesus' mother. He responds unexpectedly, not downgrading Mary, but pointing to the source of her blessedness, as her cousin Elizabeth did at the Visitation: Blessed is she who believed in the Lord's promise.
There is an echo here of Mary's Magnificat: Henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. Luke points to Mary as the one who pondered God's words (hesitating at the Annunciation), kept them in her heart and reflected back on them when she went down to Nazareth.
To receive the word of God is a greater gift in the eyes of Jesus than to receive the body of Jesus in the womb. Mary is richly blessed - more for her receiving the word of God in her life and living by it, than being the physical mother of God. Prayer is the time we give in our lives, even daily, to receiving the word of God.

For the latter distracts you and also not good for a priest to hear such things often, except only when he is a truly a master in a spiritual life, in which none can boast save The Lord Alone. I have been asking everybody, on every CZcams video, to please pray an ''Our Father, Hail Mary and a Glory be'' (at least) every night and all in union for the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We know it will be done since Our Blessed Mother said so. But let's pray that Christ will make it happen as soon as possible. Thank you and God Bless you all in these troubled times.

I'm 71 over the decades I have had intervals of starts & stops in my spiritual growth; the times between these intervals was filled with non stop mortal sins...however Philippians 3:13-16 had been burned into my memory & it is in those words of St Paul that, even great a sinner as I am, set me upon the straight path so as I never ceased to press forward, toward the mark, of the high calling of God, in Jesus Christ. It is so important to put your past behind you & stay in the Present, as this the only place where our Lord Jesus Christ is met; & take it from my experience, you will meet Him there. Be aware of what fruits Holy Spirit may have given you, this is encouragement to keep striving toward the goal St Paul speaks of; utilize the those fruits to become an example so as to help others. God bless all of us; Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us. Amen

You know this is true by the simple fact that you are fully capable of FULLY studying the writings of the early Church Fathers to find the truth yourself. 2) Not all Tradition came from the mouth of Christ but rarher through the action of the Holy Paraclete as discribed in John 14: 16, 26. So, in effect, yes Tradition can be proven to come from Jesus in as much as He instructed how and by Whom Tradition would be formed and ratified.

In the traditional, and by the way the only catholic Mass the priest faces God and the Mass is spoken in Latin. In the post Vatican 2 the Mass they created is a new religion where the Priest faces the people instead of God and “Mass” is spoken in English. Look for a traditional Catholic parish. God Bless.

When talking of purgatory, it is not of this world so it is outside time. There is no Time with God, so we don’t really know exactly what it means. I just look on it as a great gift of God, an antechamber for purification to fit us to enter God’s presence. I am OCDS.

I have found FSSP priests to be ungrateful for the SSPX. If not for Lefebvre, they would not exist. The position of FSSP in relationship with Bergolio is contradictory and duplicitous, to my mind. Authentic, faithful clergy MUST RESIST Bergolio, entirely, if not, then they straddle the fence in pursuit of their own interest. The SSPX, from what I have heard, refer to the FSSP faction as "bootlickers." Perhaps it is true. I pray and urge you to do the same, that the Holy Ghost heal the divisions among Traditional clergy, both correcting and consoling. Please pray the ROSARY DAILY as Our Most Holy Mother requests, repeatedly.

Sounds like an exceptional homily which I love to hear but the audio is bad. There is an echo and the priest mumbles and speaks too meekly.
Man get real... what are you complaining about? Adjust your audio and use headphones if necessary. The priest speaks slowly and clearly. I can understand each and every word, and I started learning English in high school when I was about 16 so it is not even my first language.

What I can understand sounds wonderful but the echo makes it difficult to guess what Father is saying. It requires active listening just to make out the words much less to reflect upon them. It is kind of luje listening in a language that you are barely fluent in. You spend more time understanding the words tgan the message. Please, if you have the blessing of being able to hear Father in person, consider asking Father to upgrade the sound system or figure out how to get rid of the horrible echo or muffling or whatever is going on.

When Catholic faithful come to me and say “Father, please come and offer the traditional Latin Mass for me, our bishop will not allow it and we have nowhere else to go. Please come and give us the traditional teachings of the Church. Our diocesan pastors are modernists, and we cannot trust what they tell me and my children” , would you deny them and say, “go to your local parish and put your soul at risk? Better for you to obey your prelate at the risk of your faith”? Sounds like you are saying Yes. “SALUS ANIMARUM EST PRIMA LEX”. Obedience yes. But firstly for God. My Mass I offer is not an act of disobedience but one of obedience to the highest authority. It is an act of charity. We must fight the same fight dear Father. Pray for me and I will pray for you. Nidusqual sorry couldn’t remember your name thank you you are right,I am one of They parishioners our parish priest used to take a native (holy?) stick to the altar,said take a good look at my priestly collar as you won’t see it again to a dear old friend who told him Fr it’s so good to see you wear your collar.Married divorced people and gave Holy Communion to them,and told the priest who came to help out “don’t think your doing that Latin thing here” Fr did Latin mass in hospital chapel I went there,my granddaughter at the Catholic school the teacher said to class “there is no hell” Elise my grand daughter” miss there is we pray the rosary and there is a hell, Muslim school captain in catholic school, the list goes on,very sad state of affairs.For one I thank God that the priest who did the Latin mass showed up in my parish yes he was stood down for continuing to say the mass when told to stop so we go to his mass and will continue as a family to go.If he is not in parish I don’t care he preaches the truth, I cannot go back to the parish there are more things I could write but I don’t want to keep going on. I like to add an other comment on why this priest is wrong about Pius X or sspx priest people look at the 1988 bishops making of 4 bishops by archbishop Lefebvre is disobedience to the pope but canon law 1324 says a bishop can make an other bishop without the popes permeation to save the mass. that is an other example on how doctrine or canon law is more important then obedience.

I like to point out this priest is wrong about sspx priest. there are more obedient than you and st peter priest, because for one thing most important is not to fellow the pope it is to fellow doctrine. if you study the councils of the church you would know that.
Vatican 1 in 1870 by pope blessed Pius IX said the first thing for a catholic to fellow is doctrine not the pope. so sspx is more obedient then you and st. peters seminary . a other point is you and st peter priest have to except Vatican II and the new mass which both are very anti- Catholic.

You need to do something about the ads on here. All of a sudden I see a woman in a bra talking about her boobs being too small. HOW VERY inappropriate for catholics or anyone to see. You need to be in control of what kinds of ads you allow.
The affectation in the voice, of this priest, especially when speaking soft and low, is unnatural, it makes him sound more from Hollywood instead of sincere, almost to say, listen to me, I am holy! Better just to speak natural, as when he raises his voice to a more natural tone. He speaking soft, and slow, at times distracts one from hearing his talk and rather draws one's attention away from his preaching, and to himself instead. Just talk natural!
