Golf tips • instruction • lessons • www.wisdomingolf.com Another fantastic session with Chantal working on the short game! / wisdomingolf / shawnclement
These lessons with Chantal are fantastic. Good instruction with a good student really bring the concepts home in these videos. It helps to see the student actually implement the instruction. Thanks Shawn and Chantal.
Thank you Chantal and Shawn (the lawnmower) Clement , these lessons are like being there really really appreciate them. I have to watch them over and over cause there’s so much info there I can’t take it all in at once and the answer is almost always there if I pay attention .
Super Video about chipping. I love the Wisdom videos with a student, so questions of the student are same as my Questions. Love it!!! Love to meet you again at Germany and bring Sav and Moe with you!!!!
I would put this in your top ten videos or lessons Shawn! Excellent bit of Wisdom. I still struggle with my chipping, going to the practise area today with this in mind.
Shawn Clement honestly, it was like night and day. I can't wait to take this to the course. I think the idea of the lowercase y really helped. And I stopped trying to manipulate the club.
Shawn, when you did the chip in the front view you had a marked “out of the way-out of the way” momentum and held the lower case y. When Chantal did her swing she released the lower case y to a capital y. Does it matter as long as the release is after the momentum passes the dandelion stem? I find I often face the ball ( wrong focus I know), and release the y too early and skull the shot. When I imagine or predict the hands leading the swing through the center point better contact. This was a super video btw.J.
I k ow this is an old video so hopefully you'll see this Shawn. The ball seems very very far back in Chantal stance for chipping is it literally on the outside of the trail foot, is that correct?
Hi Shawn! I am not able to put a finger on anything in particular. I knowthe technique as taught by you. I have seen every video on this. Focus is to cut the stem. In a particular direction. Could be difficulty in keeping my hands forward, weight forward. Or it could be that I am not letting the weight of the ACU fall into the cut. And then maybe because I do not use the momentum distance control becomes an issue. Landing on the spot . Was watching your G Force Club video. Looks so simple. BUT.. Falling of ACU in smaller chips becomes even more difficult. :)

Thank you Scott! Appreciate the terrific feedback!

Thank you Robin!!

Nudge Nudge Chantal!!

Haha; she is a work in progress too! However, it is functional enough to enjoy nice chips and nice contact and land on the spot she wanted! :)
I k ow this is an old video so hopefully you'll see this Shawn.

Yes!! Please see “short game chipping shawn clement”
Chantal's head is not following the ball. Is this correct?
The head should come up with the action through the ball and into the finish; you should never focus on keeping the head down; ever!
In spite of everything, somehow struggling.
Hi Mohanjit!
What in particular is the area of struggle?
What is the focus sequence before the strike?
