Golf tips • instruction • lessons • www.wisdomingolf.com Another fantastic lesson with Chantal, this week we move on to pitch shots! / wisdomingolf / shawnclement
@@golflessons I'm on your channel every night and the Chantal teaching is fabulous. My biggest obstacle this week is keeping my left arm straight on the follow through :(
Hi David! This happens as a result of a good swing to a target; see “throwing the club shawn clement” and “throw the club straight shawn clement” and “how arms and club release” as starters, then I recommend you dive into our premium channel for just $5.00 per month; there are 2 videos there that are greatly important to that lead arm called “lead arm release” and “trail arm release” and the channel-website is all in chronological order from a good 5 years ago with video updates every week and a terrific comment section that gets my attention personally every day.
Shawn!! I let my arms "fall through the cut" and it was amazing! I hit pitch after pitch. This relaxed effortless feel even helped with my full iron shots. Thanks for all the great videos!
Clearly the best golf instructor out there. Love this playlist Shawn you make learning the fundamentals of golf easy for the brain to take in. since coming across you're site and practicing your cutting the grass idea I've never struck my bag better & longer in my life Keep the videos coming Cheers pal👍 UK Subscriber
PREACH BROTHA PREACH 3:16 "I WOULD NEVER DO THIS" ... That simple statement within the context of the video is applicable to pitching, full swing, etc ... more importantly it tells us the body is there to support arm movement to shave the wood!!! .. that advice will help one remember is that the arms swing the club rather than helplessly throwing your body at the ball ... great video to help things click in a simple fashion ...
Really appreciated your insights as to the progression of how lower scoring unfolds, as the parts of the game come together. This may be a camera perception issue but wanted to ask . Chantal's ball position , after your correcting , still seemed back . Also, her hands at address appeared little different than when chipping . I thought there would be more of "towards center" with pitch, but her hands seem significantly forward . Again , this may be camera issue and so I ask.
Based on the above lesson on pitching, chipping, etc basically short games. You are saying our head should stay center and ball position slightly back off center. For other shots, we resume back to head slightly turn and tilt to the right for right handed player, basically staying behind the ball for other shots except short games?
And the 3 bears...this one is too hot, that one too cold, and this one is just right...too long, too short, just right...too hard, too soft, just right...for what ever you need to use it for, goldielocks is amazing! I was first introduced to it by David Ogrin PGA tour winner and one of the only guys to beat Tiger in the final round at Texas La Canterra open in 1996!
@@golflessonsThanks Shawn for your explanation, is there any yours video in youtube that explain about Goldielocks? If yes , may I know what the tittle of the videos?
I have a 4 video series on Goldie Locks on my premium channel; such an important tool to have when you are in doubt and not feeling it over a shot! Is momentum increased/decreased by increasing/decreasing the backswing?
