Ange is a top class manager. Today's performance was tough to watch. The amount of chances we had of scoring in the second half and we couldn't finish a single one. We dominated the majority of the game but just couldn't get the goals in the end. Good performance disappointing result. Heads up.☘️

The fact we creating these chances is a good sign. Jota completed more dibbles in CL than any other Celtic player 2003/04 onwards an jens completed 109 passes out of 114 again better average than any player in the champions league for Celtic 2003/04 onwards 💚 getting anything away in these groups is a result 👍

It is a confidence thing. Last year Celtic weren’t putting away their chances in the SPL but the grew their confidence and now they are slapping up teams in the SPL without blinking. The same thing must happen now in the Champions League. The fundamentals are there. I would rather Celtic create chances and miss goals rather than not create any chances and have the best forward in the world. As
Ange said the players need to embrace the challenge and get it into their heads that they belong in the Champions League and the rest will take care of itself.
Ange said that he wants us to gradually improve in Europe. We can’t expect us to go from getting papped out of every European competition last year to winning games consistently in the UCL this year, even though it does feel we have improved *that* much. We are still going in the right direction and we know for certain now that Ange’s style of football, when implemented by our technically fantastic set of players, can cause problems for top teams. We will get to a point where we are taking these chances consistently and that is when we will see Celtic become a true UCL level team. Feels like 2 points lost undoubtedly, but we know one thing about this Celtic team and that is that we consistently improve in every aspect of our game. The trajectory is still very much upwards.

Another good performance against a decent team .but like the Madrid game we failed to take our chances and as we all know it can be costly but take nothing away from the manager and the players to get where we are considering this is a relatively year old team.

I know we should have won and on another day we could have won by a couple but mcgregor had a stinker today he put the back line in trouble more than once by being needlessly disposesed and had a good few stray passes.
