Scotland was awash with much better teams them days I Inc Celtic rangers and also Hibs Hearts Dunfermline Aberdeen Dundee utd Motherwell etc good sides and not a guarantee Celtic or rangers would win . Recent yrs it's been mainly guaranteed one or the other now recent Celtic in a one horse race .

    Ange is the greatest Australian coach we've seen for a long time - he's also a super ambitious coach who has always backed his own ability 100 % all through his career and won Trophies wherever he's coached in the last 20 years with his attacking style of football - with all the clubs he coached down under ( Brisbane and Melbourne) , with the Australian national team ( winning the Asian Cup which was HUGE) , with some previously unheard of team in Japan and now with Celtic in Scotland - so if Spurs came knocking he would definitely have a very ,very close look at the opportunity

      @zuesjackrussell9675 Před 11 měsíci

      First and last chance. The premier league is a circus. Always managers being fired. Even another year and he would find a decent job in the premier league. The carrot is that it's at the end of the season and not mid season. Celtics budget dictates his move. Without significant funds Celtic can never do anything in Europe. Spurs on the other hand is a different story but a bad job to take. Better suited to a club like Everton or Wolves with less expectations. I can see Tottenham sacking any manager that doesn't get them to the Champions league. And with City Utd Newcastle Arsenal and Liverpool it's not going to happen.

He has won 5 out of 6 domestic. Time for the big league. Perfect time for it after treble win and great season. If next season its not so good then an oppertunity like spurs wont be there. For the fans that say he will stay to have another bash at champions league...he wont ,we cant compete with the cash other top leagues can throw about. So he stays for a miracle of last 16 to then get blown away? Sometimes id rather we were in europa league to have a chance of a solid cup run. I also think it would be sensible to let Kane go for a big fee as soon as possible, ideally not to a rival, and let the new manager use the money to start shaping his own team, just as Klopp did in his first 2-3 seasons. Tottenham need a long-term plan, some smart signings (like Mane and Salah were), and some youth development.

    Ange is actually playing a very wise game by not yet saying for sure that he'll stay at Celtic next season. And think about it, the real reason is, it helps give him an extra lift in how much money Celtic can allow him to buy new players with for next season , especially for the Champs league. So it makes sense that he now sits around the table with Celtic's bosses and makes a new deal on how much they can support him moving forward. He can give them the hint that if they refuse to support him with enough funds etc, that he has offers from other clubs. He's playing a very smart game and I do believe he has the fans of Celtic in his thoughts and wants to see proper progress in Europe and that will need some injection of money for at least a few new top notch players.

      Let’s be honest, we see and hear this from managers all the time. If they don’t answer the question with an outright “ no, I’m not going anywhere.” That tells you all you need to know. Well done big man. You’re now and always will be a Celtic legend. HAIL HAIL🍀🇮🇪🏆🏆🏆🇦🇺
