I'd actually put Bearger in C or low-B tier. His loot has some practical uses and the boss itself can be used as a wood-harvesting tool which gives it a few points.

Jellybeans, despite being food, do actually give wormwood their healing over time effect. This means wormwood only loses out on 2 points of healing compared to every other character. Jellybeans are just that good.
I think you forgot Turf-Raiser Helm on Antlion, which is pretty good for decorating, or quickly paving around Klaus sack with cobblestone. Also I still don't get why people think Antlion is easier than Bearger. Even Moose Goose if more difficult than Bearger (if you include Moslings). Bearger is just straightforward kiting (if he survives the treeguards he'll inevitably spawn), while Antlion locks you in an arena and spawns sandspikes randomly. I can always do no-hit Bearger kill, but with Antlion it's more difficult.
antlion is stupid easy since its health is extremely low and the sand spikes dont do much damage and dont really spawn too much till she's low health. Im sure its hard to no hit since the last phase seems ridiculous to dodge but it has such low health it doesnt really matter.

All you gotta do is run in circles around her between her attempts to hit you, and you should always have the desert goggles since their blueprint is insanely easy to fish nowadays. And if the last phase goes too fast for you, you can run around most of the time while giving a hit here and there to prevent her healing, then smack her a bunch when she summons the walls of the arena and repeat until she's dead.

It's not that Antlion, MooseGoose or Deerclops are hard, it's just that Bearger is the most basic form of kiting in videogames, and among seasonal bosses as well. Even fighting a pig or a merm requires more dexterity than fighting Bearger. And again: it's a self-dustructing boss that is usually killed by the treeguards it spawns.
shitposting aside, I actively make moleworm "farms" because they are INCREDIBLY easy to catch, kill, and give a morsel for the complete lack of effort involved. Plus they stick around in every season.
Dude, Klaus is an easy S tier, he’s pretty easy if you can get the hang of it and will always drop something good, plus he can be easily cheesed with Wanda and a lureplant.
in DS solo, Dragonfly is F tier. Extremely hard to kill, extremely dangerous, has drops that only help fighting IT, and NOTHING ELSE! Youre not missing anything if you disable this boss in world customization - youre saving yourself a potential death and the collateral damage this boss always causes.

"Only 10%" is actually a lot when the difference is 90% vs 80%, as 80% reduces damage taken to 1/5 and 90% reduces damage taken to 1/10, which essentially means the dreadstone helmet is twice as effective than the eye mask when protecting the wielder. Also, Dreadstone helmet has a durability of 840 compared to Eye Mask's durability of 315, which means it lasts 2.67x longer as well. Also, where would Enraged Klaus land on the tier list?
I really think you underrated Bearger a huge amount. Even though his drops aren’t great, using him to collect a massive amount of wood is extremely useful and quite easy to do, as such I think it should be included in his loot drops
Using the shield as mexwell is SO GOOD. You can have the top hat and a backpack with the same protection as a football helmet and with your duelists you can do good dos even with the 51 damage of the shield
by your scaling system (how worth it is to kill them), moleworm should be S. Not only do you get the satisfaction of killing a moleworm (massive IRL sanity boost), but you also improve the world around you by getting one step closer to total moleworm eradication.
i love the lazy deserter it made base work so much easier if any emergency appeared. anyone on the server could get an insta tp to base (as someone is usually never far from base to tp you )

if your rushing the ruins for a pick/axe to fight the werepig its extremely easy to grab mats for a magi too so the fact you want speed for the fight really doesnt matter much
there are two variants on dragonfly. The solo one (summer boss) and the together one (raid boss) The solo version has two attacks which it alternates between. The first attack is unkittable (you will get hit no matter what) and the other one hits so hard it melts your armor if you do not kite it. It also only drops the scale and some meat, and we don't have the scaled furnace or the scaled floor in solo, so its only uses are the fireproof chest and the chestplate which sets mobs on fire. While chestplate has some use, the boss is overly difficult and punishing for its loot and the fight is forced upon you. Mole tier.
@@lonekyoko well yes, but then you have a seasonal boss flying around somewhere. Also moose goose as far as I know gets it's spawn slightly outside your position during beggining of spring. It is not like in together.
@@PineappleDealer37 u can see the remains of the nests on dst, in rog however, u can spawn her and block her in a cage with trees. as for the dragonfly, on singleplayer dont starve u can trap her with fire pits so she will be stuck in her place making the kiting process much easier and forgetable
For antlion, I see it as something annoying that’s better to kill than to regularly make trips to feed it. Also, there were a few late game public server I’ve join set up lazy deserters networks allowing for tp from almost anywhere to base. Then again most public servers don’t last very long, so I see your point.
With taking root out (i think) and the horrors from below beta I think celestial champion and fuel weaver become more important as they unlock further endgame content, such as the brightshade equipment and the tattered dread equipment. I guess this also buffs the value of nightmare wearpig as you need to fight him to get the dreadstone to repair the gateway to acess the new nightmare stuff, plus he has a wall blueprint but I dont really plan on spending preciouse dreadstone on walls.

All 3 of those items although valuable are not nearly worth the amount the amount of armor, healing item, sanity, and weapon durability loss it takes from fighting them.(even if you dodge them, you still have to compensate the sanity loss and weapon usage unless you make a hambat which at this point you should just farm shadow creatures instead) All of those items can be just as easily achieved farming shadows for a day which is far easier and safer. Yes I understand you can set up shadow pieces to spawn several dozen of them at once and then cheese them but once again you are left with both the set up time and the danger that it brings. So yeah, C tier is pretty fair. Ironically I actually think the gears they drop can be considered more valuable but thats just me.
in nightmare pig defense if you're going to the ruins to get the ancient material you're also going to get a green amulet to do both the helmet and the body armor
I’ve talked with some people about this before, malbatross bill is the only true reason to fight malbatross, the watering can is nice but the only good use is to make it and deconstruct it so you can get a full durability bill so that you never have to fight malbatross again.
Also if the tier list is how worthwhile it is to fight the boss Antlion should be higher since it’s much easier to kill it rather than having to appease it all summer so it doesn’t destroy your base

Pretty good list, Spider Queen in S for me though because I mainly play Webber. Easy boss + gives arguably the best spider variant central to most post-rework Webber strategies.

I know its hard to argue with the thing that i played wolfgang, but i fought both misery toadstool and normal toadstool like a week ago and... Normal toadstool is actually not that bad? I used 30 axes for misery and only 5 for normal TD because i knew the pacing and the boss wasn't as atrocious to fight with less overall attacks during tree phase. Im actually fine with fighting her again later cause i still didn't get smaller light bluep. Wolfg bonuses for both chopping and fighting are amazing here. Still think she needs a rework, but i actually like her now. At least the normal one. Around hour long fight as mighty wolfgang against misery toadstool was really really bad, and i've actually barely got it with one axe left. Normal TD took me around 2 days. On repeat fight feels much better then on the first time cause you get the pacing and timings
Dragonfly definitely isn't A tier. D at best. Gems while neat you get more then enough in caves where their main practical use is. The furnace isn't useful from the fact you save literally 1 piece of grass or wood when at your base. I've beaten bosses countless times without fighting Dragonfly. When are you actually going to benefit this without messing with settings?
maybe so. Looking back over this, i think B tier or low A would probably be a better ranking for dragonfly. However, i hard disagree with you that the furnace isnt useful. Yeah sure, you can easily make a fire at any point but the perpetual usefulness of something that can be used as an infinite heater through winter so you dont even have to bother with thermal stones breaking is more than enough of a reason. Secondly the dragonfly gem drops are still a reasonable thing enough to do, especially if you are not ruins rushing as you dont have to concern yourself with collecting one of the 3 specifc rare gem types and instead just bringing them down already, grabbing thulecite, making your gear, and getting tfo. I can at least see your reasoning but dragonflys loot is definitely a fair trade off.
