    I was like you all ,Wanted it but the cost was crazy ,however once I bought my first piece I saw where the cost was worth it ,just the features and lightweight materials and keeping you warm and dry was amazing ...I was sold also have kuiu and it's all just better than the cheaper bulky clothing .

    The construction quality of Sitka makes it worth the price. If you don’t loose or gain a whole lot of weight and need to change size, this stuff will last forever.

    Great conversation!! Picked up the equinox vest for this upcoming spring Turkey season in WA. Excited to hit it hard and not have to worry about gear failure.

    Interesting...and some quality gear...I like the layering :)....I'm in Manitoba Canada and some real cold temps....I wouldn't say they are my go gear for our temps here....my down pour jacket leaked in sleaves....dakota vest did job blocking wind...I wouldn't say I'm 100% committed but cool to see they keep researching.....

      @@BlackOvis Helly Hansen Wool Base Layers, Under Armour sherpa fleece and Under Armour Brow Tine Cold Gear Barren kit because it's roomy enough to fit layers. And if it's extreme Cold then I add Cabela's brand reversible fleece vest.

    Sitka needs to learn to sell right to the customer like firstlite

      Yes cut out the middle man product too expensive

      FL did that and the price didn't drop.

    • @BlackOvis
      @BlackOvis  Před 2 lety +1

      Are firstlite product much cheaper? Sitka uses dealers to help the customer be able to find their products locally. Sitka builds a better product, that's what their pricing is based off of. Direct to consumer brands are just taking the entire piece of the pie.

    • @philcrewse9828
      @philcrewse9828 Před 2 lety +1

      Kuiu figured it out their products are less expensive kinda ironic sense Jaso Hairston was the founder of Sitka

      @@jbcurdog72 I know man ,I went with the fanatic. Lite Bibs and jacket and the stratus jacket and pants with a good base layer and I'm sitting all day in 10° weather ,now still expensive you can get both those sets for about 600.00 650.00 a set but we'll worth it.
