    Is there any possibility you could do a teardown of the vsmile pocket? There appear to be at least 2 different models, the startup is slightly different between the 2.

    Did he use a gameboy to more easily show gameplay on the fly? I can't think of any other reason why you would use a gameboy sp to showcase V.Smile game footage, or am i missing something?

      It's a GameBoy Advance SP, which is like a normal GameBoy Advance, but you can fold it and it has a backlight so you can see what you're doing. As for the video cables coming out of it, that's an unofficial cartridge with video inputs, never really seen it outside of this video.

      @teh_supar_hackr I have 2 GBA SPs, a SpongeBob one and a Pikachu one, some of my favourite games to play on them are Pokémon Emerald, Mario Tennis GBC, Sonic 2 Pack - Advance and Pinball Party, and many others.

    Is it impossible to get it RGB modded?

    • @teh_supar_hackr
      @teh_supar_hackr Před 2 lety +4

      It's possible, just no one has done it because the V.Smile is too obscure.

      @@teh_supar_hackr Idk if there are parts required to do this. I know it requires soldering but I’m guessing no one has come up with parts to do the RGB mod. Do you know the steps (if really any) to RGB mod it?

      funny, you can't even see what the ICs are because they're covered up with blobs no way to find datasheets to see if there are pins for RGB, YPbPr or even Y/C(S-Video)
