stone in question here is from Eidsborg, Telemark. I, grew up some 45 minutes from the quarry and the quarry itself was in production until the 60s.
It is sad to see tho that your reenactors/extras havent taken the time to prepare the stone for use instead of using the hewn raw rock to sharpen stuff.
