  • In this demonstration, I will show you how to veer the zipper off the end of the fabric. I use this technique in several of my patterns, including the Cotton Candy Pouch.
The Cotton Candy Pouch is part of Minikins Season One - sewsweetness.com/products/min...

Great video! I really appreciate you taking the time to show how to veer the zipper. I was a little confused on my first Cotton Candy pouch. I am so impressed by your knowledge of zippers. Thanks for taking the time to make this video.

Thank you so much... I really needed to see how this was done and you make it look really easy and explain it clearly. The only bag I’ve made is a cotton candy and the zipper did not come out like this even though you did explain it clearly in video. Thanks again....I love your bags and style of teaching. Keep it up.

I wish I'd seen this tutorial a few days ago when I tried to sew a zipper on a rounded edge for a pillow I was making. I had the basic idea of what to do but I'm not 100% happy with my outcome. After watching this I will know how to make the next one better. Great tutorial!

Hi Sara ~ I have purchased the pattern for this and haven't started on it yet. Is it okay if I did the same to the end of the fabric and veer off the end of the zipper? What is the purpose for having the tab on the inside if you can't hold onto it to when opening? Just wondering. Thank you ~ Diana

She does sell a bunch of her patterns as single patterns it's just the Minikins that are sold as a bundle. Wonderful patterns and videos. Well worth it!

Question, can you purchase the cotton candy bag pattern without the other patterns? And what is the purpose of the templates for the bag if you don't get the instructions?

The Cotton Candy Pouch is part of the Minikins Season One - and sold only as part of the set. All of the patterns in the set of Minikins come with the Instructions/Videos.
