How to Veer a Zipper off the Edge of the Fabric

- In this demonstration, I will show you how to veer the zipper off the end of the fabric. I use this technique in several of my patterns, including the Cotton Candy Pouch.

I wish I'd seen this tutorial a few days ago when I tried to sew a zipper on a rounded edge for a pillow I was making. I had the basic idea of what to do but I'm not 100% happy with my outcome. After watching this I will know how to make the next one better. Great tutorial!

Hi Sara ~ I have purchased the pattern for this and haven't started on it yet. Is it okay if I did the same to the end of the fabric and veer off the end of the zipper? What is the purpose for having the tab on the inside if you can't hold onto it to when opening? Just wondering. Thank you ~ Diana
