I feel that Su and Moa are quietly communing with the dead at the bottom of this emotional performance. Their prayers will be sublimated and enveloped in light.

    Great reaction, thanks!
Sometimes I forget how good this song and performance are... totally joking. "Shine" is one of my top favorites and this is mu favorite performance of all of them. And not only that, I also consider this one of Su-metal's finest works as a vocalist.
Now, "Arkadia" masterfully closes the "Trilogy of lights". Just fasten your seatbelt. 😁

And that they used Mikio's old guitar goosebumps...

After the release of Metal Galaxy, this quickly became one of my favourite songs. The mix of melancholy and heaviness is perfect. And Su is so good!

This Legend M performance of Shine is my favourite single Babymetal performance ever. If there is one Babymetal show that I could go back in time to be at, its this one. It's such an intimate and personal performance from Su and Moa that really feels like they are honouring and paying tribute to the friends they have lost along their journey.

excellent content nicolas-metal, my interpretation of this performance is they are being led through the Metal Galaxy by the star of Mikio (RIP) in search of Yui's light that she lost, and Arkadia finishes this story in a very uplifting way.

Great reaction. As we explained when you reacted to 'Starlight', 'Shine' is the second song of the trilogy and represents accepting and coming to terms with loss.
This Legend M performance is arguably Su-metal's finest vocal performance to date and Moa's choreo makes the whole performance even more emotional - and with the acoustic guitar on stage with just the two of them. This is the only time they performed this song without one of te Avengers dancing with them, so it is special and really does seem significant.
The way they turn and leave the stage and the guitar at the end, as if they have accepted they can't cling to it forever and have to let it go, along with the lyrics in 'Starlight', it really does make it hard to believe there is no truth in the theory that the trilogy is at least in part an homage to Mikio Fujioka (RIP).
'Arkadia' is the last song and represents looking to the future and brighter things to come while never forgetting. It is a very uplifting and optimistic song, I hope you enjoy it as much as 'Starlight' and 'Shine'.

Thanks again for the great explanations! It's strange, even though this is more melancholic with the acoustic guitar and the lyrics/homage to Fuijoka, I also felt like a bit of hope and calmness too, mixed with those more emotional feelings? I guess that's why they're so great.

@@nicolas.no.h Yes, I don't think any of us can really explain how they do that ... we're just grateful that they do.

Welcome back to the Foxhole and with this suggestion, tge second part part of the Trilogy Of Lights.🦊🤘🔥
Our princess of Nagoya can play the guitar for sure, in this occasion looks like she did play but for some reason the sound didn't come out from the speakers. SuMetal played the piano at Budokan 2021.
She dance gracefully in this and she can take your breath away. The two of them are the spotlight because this is so intimate and after Legend S 2017 they didn't performed as a duo and this is the only time they performed together with no backup dancer around, all the other versions are with the full trio.
For me this song talk about the two of them finding each other after such a odd times and MoaMetal is that shine on the road, the light at the end of the tunnel SuMetal needed to keep travelling her road, now boundlessly together.
Some fans think this is like a tribute from Moa to Mikio-sama showing him how she became a young adult, not only beautiful but also skilled. She learned some lesson guitar from him while being on tour.
They recently finished the Sabaton's Europe Tour and everyone were having a blast with the live concerts but the World Tour keeps going on in Asia and Australia.
Thanks for sharing this and see you next time with Arkadia.🦊🤘🔥

Best song. I think I lean more into Legend Metal Galaxy version, but this Legend M version with Moa "playing" guitar has distinct personal and emotional vibe.

Nice reaction. Although Yui left in 2017 and officially in 2018. It wasn't until this performance that I felt they were really a duo. Such a powerful performance. Su and Moa could move mountains to tears. It's the right amount of everything. That's Babymetal magic. Yup that's it Babymetal magic.

👍 👍 One of my top 5 BabyMetal songs.
This song/performance is said to have been in honor of Mikio Fujioka who tragically died at 37 falling from an observation tower the year before while stargazing leaving behind a wife and child and also Yui who is a stargazer as well. The lyrics are beautiful.
It is said that Moa actually played the acoustic guitar for this which is backtracked because she wanted the performance to be perfect and she was a bit nervous about actually playing it onstage.

I have Legend M and this is awesome - the only thing better was Moas entrance to it 😁
