Ramon Dekkers, Ernesto Hoost, Peter Aerts teach almost the opposite of this. More rotation wider kicks. Good to have more tools in the tool box. Thank you for this video.
@@jacobmoore6874 thank you for your response. I always read contradicting information, some stating the Dutch style low kick is more up then down (Alastair overeem) says that in his seminar. I’ve seen it done this way. Also the flail method
@@nono559 Im still learning how the dutch low kick works because it comes up with no hip rotation which is the opposite of what im used to so I feel u on that😅
International Fight King Hooft, I'm glad I found your channel. The Blackzilians are awesome athletes-I love watching what your knowledge and experience has helped form in the octagon. As an American boxing enthusiast looking to improve my striking- What are some brutal powerful and simple combinations that have higher odds of giving a KO in a fight? A video showcasing some of these would be great. Also- Do you advise using elbows often in your striking style? Thanks for your time and may victory be to your team in the next octagon war!

Even tho they were dutch style they adopted the thai style of low kick which has that heavy rotation of the hips. Not as fast but alot more powerful.

@@jacobmoore6874 check out Rob Kaman, old skool Dutch kickboxer, terrifying lowkicks 👍
Ernesto kicks exactly like this, step into the kick and swing the hip up and down as opposed to around
I could see the kyokushin influence in the kick

is it ok to kick with the upper part of the shin? in other videos they say the lower part to avoid breaking
Nice
Tell that to Ramon Dekkers. don't rotate your body extensively
Ik wil meer aub 👊🏼
good, easy and sample
Coach Hooft is absolutely the best.
No sauce, straight to the point!
So that's why I get injured sometimes. I kick with the muscle of my shin and I cant kick for a month.
There's something to be said for everything. Here's Kyschenko talking along the same type of lines czcams.com/video/0CfRa4Eiwog/video.html
