  • If your dishwasher doesn’t turn on or power up, there’s a good chance that the fix is relatively easy. A thermal fuse can fail and cause this problem. In this video we show how to diagnose the problem, and the repair is pretty straightforward.

Well, I've a model KDTE204KPSO; top controls in the door. BUT, just the push buttons. Nothing else. Circuit card on the inner panel and I suspect the fuse is buried in there. Question is, HOW do I get into all the plastic: drop an access hatch and it's just wires on push connectors. I tried lifting the circuit card and all the plastic off the panel, but no go. Suggestions?

the price of that fuse from online parts houses is $30, not a couple of dollars...where are you getting yours for a couple dollars...

What caused the original over current condition? Just replace the fuse, dah NO.

Is it possible the fuse just failed?
