The fish we called it ikan tongkol, and the potatoes we called it perkedel made from potato, egg, leek and seasoning. And the cake with the layer it called kue lapis.
The fish is called pindang tongkol (braised tongkol fish/mackerel). The fried one is perkedel Kentang (originally Dutch food called frikkadel, made from potatoes/Kentang, scallion and minced meat) The one wrapped in banana leaf is pepes tahu (steamed tofu). All food wrapped and steamed in banana leaves, with Salam (Bay leaves), lemongrass, and galangal are called pepes, some pepes use kemangi (Thai basil), turmeric, or coconut milk. Seblak originally made from raw kerupuk crackers, not fried, but soaked in water until they became soggy, seasoned with kencur paste (Kaempferia galanga, more fragrant than galangal), usually local people here eat really spicy seblak, topped with other stuff like chicken feet, chicken bones, meatball, sausage, fried shumai, noodle, egg, etc. If you are still in Bandung, you can go to alkateri street near Braga at noon, you can find, loték, Baso tahu, traditional bola ubi (no cheese, just sweet potato), Ronde Jahe alkateri, and go to Warung Kopi Purnama, you can try Chinese Indonesian dish there.

and the "farm house" where it is opposite and in Lembang there are still many tourist attractions, especially on the outskirts of the city of Lembang
keep making content like this I'm sure many will watch it, don't forget to take a walk to South Kalimantan
Thank you🙏🏼😃
The fish we called it ikan tongkol, and the potatoes we called it perkedel made from potato, egg, leek and seasoning. And the cake with the layer it called kue lapis.
Saya melihat "orang ketiga" disana, "Alexander White". ;-)
Haha yes😁👏🏼
Claire, the easy thing to wash the spicy from your mouth, eat rice,, 😀
The fish is called pindang tongkol (braised tongkol fish/mackerel).
The fried one is perkedel Kentang (originally Dutch food called frikkadel, made from potatoes/Kentang, scallion and minced meat)
The one wrapped in banana leaf is pepes tahu (steamed tofu).

Martabak made from wheat flour and Serabi made from rice flour. Perkedel made from mashed potato mix with fried shallot and green onion sometime adding with minced beef.
Seblak is Indonesian food that is known to come from Bandung, West Java, which has a savory and spicy taste. Made from wet crackers cooked with vegetables and protein sources such as eggs, chicken, seafood, or processed beef, and cooked with galangal
I'm laughing when you say "Indonesia is making me fat"

Bandung has a cool climat and Dutch people are fond in the Dutch colonial , they build a lot Art Deco buildings..Bliksem is Dutch in English; Bliksem=Lightning. Bola Ubi=potato ball,Maretabak=Dutch Choclate sprinkles and codensed milk from the Dutch. But I prefer the salty Maretabak with lots eggs and green unions and wrapped in a thin pancake and fried on hot plate.
