This is a controversial question as it should be ''Is this world safe for women''? Men will look at women unless they are educated and well trained by their mum meaning REAL MEN DO NOT LOOK and also this is a common ongoing everywhere unless it is a Muslim country where women are respected and also women are covered. Indian women after marriage should wear saree and cover their head but no Indian women does this (only Muslim Indian women) I went to India 4 times and encountered a few problems but I was very young but if I were to go now then I am more experienced also aware. Even though I look Asian I encounter problems. Bollywood movies are the culprit

Having been to both Bali and Lombok in 1992, I can tell you that it's LESS developed than Bali at the time. Bali was easy... Not crowded. But still developed enough to be able to easily find accommodation and transportation. No garbage either. Seems like the West came to the East and overdid their stays.
