Episode 12/12 Sir Antony Gormley is one of the world's most popular artists. His iconic Angel of the North is a universally-admired work of public art and his sculptures have been seen by millions in cities all over the world.
This is my favorite of all artists you've covered.
Just about to say: the best of the series I've seen so far :)
At this point that is a multi million business rather than art.
Great documentary. I like all of the artists featured but gormley speaks some real sense and his work is so interesting

Fantastic ... the Terracotta Army is in my town here in Wellington New Zealand ... Nothing compares to them. But I love Gormley’s vision ... and his budget.

Please, if I ever have the good grace of becoming a successful artist, please don't let me become nearly as pretentious, pompous, and arrogant as these artists I have seen in this series (Emin, Chapman, this guy to a lesser extent but still. At least he is by far the most talented.)
around 12+ mins, i assume all sat about the table are artists but they all look like exactly the same.... why so much dark clothes!! thats strange. Non the less mr gormley is great.
i dont think they looked the same, it was that they were all very focused,,,, and then taking their dinner break... there was no chaos there, but a place for "contemplation and active work".
