His Concussion v Ireland shorten his career unfortunately never fully got over it. He was a class player in his prime.

Breaks my ❤ to see Pat a spectator and not a player more amongst the legends. Pat you are a blessing we got to enjoy for a little while (far to short), but will forever remember your days at the Mr. Price Sharks and the Springboks. It sucks to not see you play, but I am grateful you are OK. ALL THE BEST !

@@user-rn9co7jc4t Sure I can. That was not an attempt at a tackle more to cause injury. Getting hit in the head by someone's hips (while standing upright) is not how you play rugby. Injuries and accidents do happen, but that just seemed malicious. He knew wat he was doing and it directly ended someone's career. He was on the way out, and Pat barely had some national caps. You dont have to blame CJ, but I do.
Patrick Lambie is one of the biggest ‘what ifs’ in rugby.
Great to see Pat...What a player he was for the short time was my favourite player for the boks and sharks.

Spies was one of our best ever but no one comes close to Thor for ZA who is also, like they alluded to, one of the GOATS in the position.
Duane is arguably the best 8 ever.

The Zane Kirchner period shame he thinking back was obviously solid for the Boks but I found him and those rugby sides very 1 dimensional.
