    THANK YOU so much for the turbo vs non turbo comparisons! I’ve been struggling with that decision! Most helpful video I’ve watched among DOZENS watched! Thanks again!

    I've recently started looking at the Mazda CX-5, but have been undecided on which trim package to go for. I currently have a 2011 BMW 328i and love the performance. I had pretty much decided that, in order to get a small SUV and have something a bit more practical and utilitarian, I'd have to settle for a car with less performance. This video has convinced me otherwise. It appears I'd be quite happy with the Grand Touring Reserve model with the turbo engine. This car seems to have plenty of power and looks like it's fun to drive. I don't have to give up performance and fun for practicality. Thank goodness! Love, love, love the white exterior and parchment interior too. Now it's just a matter of saving my pennies. Thanks for your great video!

    This car has a few options. My 2019 cx5 GTR has no roof rails, and my instrument panel has 2 mechanical gauges and one small led gauge.

    I like the way you present this car and I'm a Mazda and CX-5 fan, I wish I could've get this car sooner or maybe the next Gen of this car.

    My wife and I will be turning in our 2015 and 2016 CX-5s next February, and right now, I'm leaning toward getting a 2019 (or 2020) CX-5 Touring for the both of us, since we work at the same place, same shift, same department. Depending on finances, I MAY try to coerce her into agreeing to go up to the GT: Reserve. I know she'd love the cooled front seats in high heat, the wiper de-icers in extreme cold and the turbo engine does seem to give that needed boost on the highway from what I can see. The hard part will be convincing her it's worth an extra ~$100 per month, lol. Either way, I love your videos...keep up the good work!!

      I wish you luck! Depending on where you live Mazda runs a loyalty discount as well that should help out with the payments. Also something to consider, just have your dealership put it on paper but look into leasing. It's something I do with my personal vehicles so i always recommend it when someone is looking. Just a good way to keep low payments on a more expensive option.

      @@PCMazdaReviews Definitely look at current loyalty and other incentives offered by Mazda. May be pleasantly surprised by what you can save. I did when I bought my 2019 CX-5 Signature back in March and was able to get an additional $1250 off the purchase price. BTW, the CX-5 is an extraordinary vehicle to drive.

      ctranger I’ve got a 2014 CX-5 Grand Touring Soul Red, just hit 60k miles on it, was going to trade it in and get a 2019 GTR, but the salesman sure thought I was born this morning, offering just a tad above 60% of what the car is really worth. Way to treat a loyal customer, eh? I am sure Mazda USA and Chase Financing would be really impressed by a loyal customer that decides not to purchase the new vehicle by a loyal customer (it would the third vehicle financed by Chase) due to the dealer’s rack of respect for a returning customer. Thanks for the review. Beautiful CX-5, finally with the turbo that I’ve been dreaming about.

      I just bought a 19 gt with the premium package for 28,777 out the door. Brand new. Because all the fuss about the turbos I was able to talk them down from 34-35k I think. There is no way the gtr can get 30mpg I know someone with the sig it gets 20. Mine has heated/cooled seats, hud, everything is the exact same except awd and the engine. Keep in mind when I test drove the sig it was pretty damn loud and yes it’s a bit quicker but honestly I didn’t notice too much difference other than the $$$ and the noise. Let’s put it this way I could afford to get either but I wanted to save the money and pay 28 and not 38 for what is essentially the exact same car. But I’m not someone who stomps it wherever I go. Coming from a fusion this thing is fast, fun to drive, solid suv. I love it. I don’t regret for a second not getting the gtr for 7-10 grand more. Oh and I’m averaging 28mpg. I mean don’t get me wrong if money were no object sure get the signiture it’s a great car but is it worth an extra $6-10,000? Only you can answer that question my friend.

      @@jeremydunning9321 you got it for that much brand new? It doesn't seem to have depreciated too much then. Of course, this is post pandemic prices now

    Really like your presentation! Just subscribed to your channel. Question: Took note of your comments on your Signature review regarding the poor rear camera resolution . Is it also poor in the Reserve trim line? Live in a crowded urban area, so this feature is important to me. If it's no better, I may wait to see if the 2020 models have made camera upgrades.

    • @PCMazdaReviews
      @PCMazdaReviews  Před 4 lety

      The reserve level just has the normal back up camera and not the around view camera. The normal back up camera looks good! I have no complaints with it. I do wonder though if the 2020 models will get the higher resolution camera that is coming on the 2019 Mazda3. Now those are sharp.

    Seems like the only difference between the Gt premium and this is the turbo. Not sure it’s worth the extra money.

      Also the AWD, that is not standard on the Grand Touring model.
