@@pavanrzxWhile I do believe that no friendship may be permanent or true, to say that there is no trust or passion in a friendship makes you seem just like Tomioka before his realization. If a friend is willing to become an enemy of you, then maybe change who you apply the friend tag to. Although your opinion may be coming from a different point of view, I understand. Friends can wrong you. But to void all relationships and say that they are apathetic and bleak is beyond generalization. I've had a friend that has made me practically void most of my summer because of what he did. The end to one road doesn't mean all other end at the same point. Giving up doesn't get you further. It gets you lost.

The start monologue is chilling, when you strand from where you want to be in life before you even realize you shut your self awareness down, hearing all that turns it on again and you just become hyper aware of all the ways you've been screwing yourself

Dude, reading that first part was like hearing the thoughts of myself about 2 years ago. I lived my life in auto-pilot for years and was very unhappy, and it felt exactly like that. Now I changed a lot fortunately and it was surprisingly simple to do so, but when we are in that state we don't see it. This seems like a really good manga

This manga ended up being pretty hopeful and wholesome. Tomioka's circumstances could have made him the typical bitter incel, but he never blamed no one but himself of his loneliness and even better decided to change that going against his low self-esteem and social ineptitude to try to make a friend, which shows you how you can always decide to turn into a better version of yourself in dark times instead of hitting rock bottom. Loved the story, a really unique and mature slice of life

Hay masked man sorry for the off topic question but can you read Monstress. It’s a comics from image comics but takes a lot of inspiration from eastern culture and I’m liking it a lot. I read the first volume and it’s really fun. I think you would like it. Also the art is really good imo.

great, but anyways id have to recommend yall the most great or in fact a masterpiece of a manga called teasing master takagi san. no words can express how truly amazing the manga is.. the storytelling, the characters, and the plot are next to those of naruto. the manga will really bring tears to ur eyes.

may be true but it's not quantifiable, the fact that we have such an immense number of suicides, the most extreme measure loneliness can lead to is insane and in our times right now, it very well could be deadlier than envy.

I have read the first few chapters, and I have some thoughts. The manga says that the protagonist is a lonely, poor, and ugly dude, yet he just happens to have a super hot girl living next door and falls in love with him in the first sight of him? I know this is trying to be realistic with its theme of loneliness and also have absurd things happen to these characters, but have the only hot girl in the manga be a love-on-first-sight takes a huge amount of immersion away from the story. The girl literally tries to kiss him the second time they have met, while sneaking into his house when he was asleep!
I can only withhold judgement so much, and I don’t think i will be finishing this manga. There is a character in this manga who is a literal bum who’s dream is to win the lottery and live an easy life. Isn’t ironic that the good things happened to the protagonist ONLY because he was lucky enough to have this girl who loves him and have the same struggles?

Because there is someone out there for everyone. Plenty of "unattractive" men with women. Or men with no promising future are laying up in a bed right now with a woman. You'd be surprised.
I think it’s shallow to think that every beautiful person wants someone that is equally as beautiful as them. you can’t live with people you don’t have a connection with, no matter how beautiful. you need to focus on finding someone that makes you feel at peace and loved, physical appearance has no part in that.
@@sonyclaystation the world around you tells a different story, for every ugly dude with a beautiful chick or ugly chick with a beautiful dude there are like 20 couples in the same "sphere" of attractiveness, you will always see more beautiful couples together rather than not, and by a huge margin, people's experience very heavily influences this aspect of life. I relate to the OP immensely and it's also a fantasy scenario in my head, i see much uglier dudes than me with beautiful women but i cannot fathom how that would even happen, like how did that man even have the audacity to be in that relationship, and besides the envy i have for them and the hatred i have towards life and what it entailed for me, at the end of the day you only have yourself to blame for not trying i guess.
@@Myhaay see thats the thing youre so absorbed trying to base all your worth on your attractiveness that you end up hating yourself. real life is not a tv show. this shit isnt based on luck people are with you only if they like you. men with a charming personality are much more attractive than any other good looking man that cant hold a conversation. only if you work on yourself from the inside is when people start to like you, because everyone always flocks over to someone that is positive and happy. and i know that, ive been introverted my whole life and finally decided to change my personality and be more outgoing and so many more people talk to me. its crazy because ive been average looking the whole while. you talk about those good looking relationships but they really dont last, because they never took the time to look at each other beyond how they looked like. i understand your viewpoint all too well, but im not telling you that you can have a pretty girl with however you look, its just that a girl you actually like will be the prettiest girl in your eyes, even if she doesnt fit the standards. i hope you can work your way through your insecurities and stop looking at people as just a face. the thing im just trying to say is not "oh dont worry a pretty girl will love you regardless of how you look" its that you need to have the same attitude toward others. find people you actually want to be with, who the fuck cares how they look? and if they love you will they care how you look? maybe you have yet to understand that
@@sonyclaystation i got your point and agree with the "connection" aspect, to reach such a point though everyone that talks positively avoids it, because everyone knows how you reach it, you either invest an abnormal/unhealthy amount of time in groups or activities you don't give a shit about or dating apps (arguably worse), or you look good and talk to people, that's literally it.
well you see, doing that part is hard, not the connection, i think every averagely intellectual adult knows that looks are not everything and that relationships don't last on that alone, completely disregarding it though is not truthful to the discussion and many even truly wonderful people have standards set, let's not pretend they don't.
you also don't realize that many people don't always want a life-long partner, somebody that wants a fuck-buddy or just girl-friends in their circle in general. (especially applied to most people with these issues while in their 20's, which is the majority)
maybe it's just me, but the times i did get to the connection part, it never clicked, maybe i am too detached, i don't care enough about the silly little small talk everyone loves to make for some fucking reason, i don't know and i am at a point where i don't even care, i've accepted my predicament and won't have any hope for the future since that never worked. the only truly good advice i find true in the test of time is that if you want to do something or change something, you have to do everything and nothing will be handed to you by waiting and doing nothing.
