"They say that laughter is the best medicine. But if that were true, who do so many comedians die of cancer? Perhaps they weren't funny enough. It's a sobering thought. And that is useful, because many comedians are also alcoholics." That is soooo brutal and so funny :DD.
@Nais … Well said. You do know your accents. It is interesting to begin understanding of regional accents. Great Britain has many. So does the USA but ours are as much expressional as just a form of speech. South Carolina vs Georgia. A distinct difference but I’d never be able to tell you how.
… just asking. Does “Cunk” have some meaning in Great Britain? Why do you think did they choose that name? Just asking because I’ve lived with a noise similar to my name and that used to bother me, as a kid.
@@robkunkel8833 the urban dictionary says: Cunk: To screw up/get screwed over, usually without a chance of redeeming oneself immediately. Synonymous to bone/boned or screw/screwed, but with less overt sexual connotations. Popularized by CZcamsr and speedrunner SimpleFlips, especially due to the fact that the CZcams algorithm mistook the randomly invented word for a similarly-spelled curse word and demonitized him relentlessly until he started “censoring” himself. “Come on, don’t cunk me, dude.” “You can’t keep cunking them like that.” “I thought I was doing a safe idea, and then I cunked myself.”
That was the worst explanation ever, everything he said is completely false. A single crisp does absolutely no damage to the body. And some medecines can save a life. So it's not because a crisp causes more harm than the drug does good that the latter is not in the form of a crisp.

I hope every professional one this show knows they're attendance in satire doesn't demean their education. If anything it helps the cause by humanizing for the modern day. It's like children books that explain science to kids, you need some color and humor to get a point across- It's not boring.
It's also reassuring to see that top academics and leading experts are actually intelligent people. (You must be wicked smart if you can break down highly complex subjects in a way that even such a raging imbecile of a fictional character can understand!) There seems to be a deep distrust in academia and science nowadays so I think Philomena does a lot of good to influence the public opinion.

You sure she says 'laughter'? Sounds like something completely different, but no idea what...
@Nivar Thanks man, I can totally hear it now. It even becomes like, weird I din't before...

The doctor seems like a fantastic educator. It's great he got some exposure even if it was satire!
But how out of touch can you be, to have never heard of, encountered, seen, or tasted, Monster Munch?
Seems pretty untrustworthy to me! lol

The fact that this show is able to get all these highly qualified people to talk to her is really amazing!
I learn so much from these studies. My moments of wonder have uncreased exponentially since I began following her. And that is no coincidence.
Philomena the Philosoraptor.
I'm stealing this for my next D&D character

It's like a puffy crisp...lol
Medicine crips hahahaha! Bloody genius!
Her sadness about Bon Jovi not being accurate. ❤️🩹😄

Apparently it's the snack of the working class.
Definitely a snack of the poor. On the other hand, they probably didn't have Monster Munch when he was of "that" age...
the episodes "medicine" and "vaccines" are the same ?
