Final Ride of the Rieju MRT50 in 2024…

- Just a very short video today, through the stunning East Sussex green belt area of the High Weald AONB.
The 2023 Rieju Trophy MRT50 SM Pro has achieved its’ 500kms (310 miles) and has just had its first scheduled service, so it’s officially run in.
It gets handed to my 16 year old Son next month, so this ride home from Dart Motorsports is likely to be my final ride of this bike until he hands it back again next year.
I’m going to miss that 2-stroke sound track! Pure nostalgia for a bloke my age.
Feel free to join me on a quick ride home taking in some lovely views along the way…

In essence it’s a new expansion chamber for the exhaust (we kept the original end can as didn’t want to be too conspicuous), a larger main jet for the carburettor and a 14 tooth front cog to replace the 11 tooth OEM cog.
The difference is night and day!
There’s a Reiju owners forum on Facebook where these setups and gearing’s are discussed often and at length, maybe worth checking in on that too. 😎
