Excellent review on a gorgeous aircraft! I would like to start building a project this summer. I have been debating between the Sling 2 LSA and Sonex Waiex. I am leaning towards the Sling but am curious if the aircraft would handle light sportsman aerobatics? The G loading of the aircraft seems to be able to handle sportsman aerobatics, however I am unsure if this is the case. Thank you Dan Johnson and Jeremy Knoll for the excellent in depth review! I greatly appreciate it!

Nicholas Dawson the Sling is way more substantial than any Sonex. I have a friend who knows the owners and builds gyros for a living and he can attest to the quality of the Sling. If you sit in it it just looks awesome too. I haven’t flown one but want a Sling 4 some day.

Love the plain. I do see a torsion whobble in the wing whenever we look at that angle. Is it torsion in the wingtip or the gopro doing it ?
