1/12/20 Fuel Pump John Deere 3020

- 1/12/2020 This afternoon I needed to replace the transfer fuel pump again on the John Deere 3020 Diesel. The previous new pump was leaking, plus I needed to return this junk pump by weeks end. A factory RE42211 Deere pump was installed along with both elbow fittings AR26674. Located in Middle Tennessee, just west of Nashville.

William Rehberg These new tractors definitely don’t have the sound and character of the old tractors. She sounds little rough when semi-cold starting. This JD pump should do it. Y’all take care Mr. William!
Thanks for showing this . I have a 2120 that the lift pump is leaking in the block making oil . Don't want to run it like that .

Scott’s Small Farming and Things . I know about the valve. I replaced the tank few years ago with a used tank off a 3010. I just chose not to bend under the tractor to turn it off. Lol..Thank you for watching.

SERVi Homestead Hey man, good to hear from you! Yeah, there’s a fuel shut-off under the fuel tank, but I didn’t feel like bending under the tractor. Keep me in your prayers as I’ve been in the hospital last 13 days. I’m in Vanderbilt Medical Center. Was diagnosed with Leukemia on 1/29/20. In this video I was experiencing systems, but thought it was like a stomach bug or something, never dreamed cancer. I’ll be in hospital until at least the end of February. Never take life for granted my brother! Because your life can change with just a doctors visit. Make it so bad, my 12 year old son was sitting next to me when the Doctor said I had Leukemia/Cancer. He’s taking it hard. Be safe my friend.

I work as a trainer in the oil field and I see these guys gone often just to make a lot of money. And many of them have a family. Not worth it to me. Can't get time back.

SERVi Homestead Your right..I was actually doing turn-arounds in refineries from 2000-2003 working for PSC and Starcon out of Baton Rouge. Of course I was single and no kids at that time. So it was good making a pile of money and traveling across the country. Soon as I met my now wife in late 2003 I quit that lifestyle and came back to TN. Thank you for you prayers.

Some parts are crap and others are great. It’s good to keep the old tractors up on maintenance

What cause you to change the fuel pump? I have a 66 3020 that just started not wanting to throttle up all the way about half or alittle more. Thinking it would be pump or filters. Any suggestions?
I’d say that’s a lucky tractor getting treated to a piece by piece makeover😊💚I don’t think she was comfortable wearing that leaky foreign fuel pump😁

Replaced the one on the 3010 with the same problem but now the gasket is leaking
