    Your wheel offset is what’s causing the rub. Factory recommendation for ReadyLift is a 0 offset.

    I was wondering what ply your tires are? I wore down some Nitto Terra Grappler on my F150 & swopped to the BF Goodrich A/T at I think a 6 ply or something. I know it was a big difference in the ride itself.

    • @FullDrawOutdoors
      @FullDrawOutdoors  Před 3 lety

      I wanna say these are 8 or 10 ply having big issues getting them balances correctly. Currently at discount tire getting road force balanced and if they don’t balance Mr wheel and deal were I got them from will be warranting them out.

    Im stuck between 33s and 35s as i have the 3.21 as well. After having the truck with 35s would you do it again or would you rather have the 33s? I will be installing same lift

    • @FullDrawOutdoors
      @FullDrawOutdoors  Před 8 měsíci

      funny you ask this, as I now have a 2023 with the 6ft bed, I have the lift sitting in the garage as I type this. Even spent more to avoid the billet piece in the strut and just bough straight strut replacements. I am on the fence on 33s and 35s mainly because of towing. When im not towing the trucks fine. got like 18mpg once it settled in and had break in miles. I know the video I did before said 20 which it was getting, but everyday driving knocked it down to 18. When I towed it would get 10-11mpg. I almost wish I could see someones towing mpg with 33s to make the choice, If its not much difference Id go 35s again. But if I was not towing anything 35s all day.

    I have a 2020 Rebel and am installing the 3.5" Readylift with with 295/70r18 Toyo Open AT3. Im going to keep my stock Rebel wheels because I really like them... and cost, may change later. Just curious, this is my first lift, did the 3.5" give it a very noticable lift? Had a buddy put a 3.5 and 33s on his Chevy and was not really noticable, kinda notice the tire change more. Your truck looks GREAT! Hope mine turns out as nice. Thanks for any info.

    • @FullDrawOutdoors
      @FullDrawOutdoors  Před 2 lety

      So the honest truth is it’s a 50/50 look. An what I mean by that is, sometimes I look at it and go “man it don’t seem that big”. Other times I see it and I’m like damn!!! She looks big. Idk how to describe it other then that. One minute it will catch your eye as a nice lifted truck. Other times it seems stock.
      But my two previous vehicles were a full 5in BDS long arm kit on a 96 ram which is a straight axle truck. Then a 5in short arm rough country lift in my 03 cummins on 37s. So those trucks being straight axle and full on suspension lifts obviously look so much better, and it’s more noticeable. So that might be why I feel like it doesn’t seem lifted to me sometimes.
      Only thing I’ll say on the ready lift is I’ll eventually switch to a Fox strut with the built in lift, instead of preloading the strut and added that billet lift block. If you’ve owned IFS trucks you’ll probably notice the ride quality lowered a bit when doing this. To me it was still night and day better over a cummins straight axle lol.
      Hope this helps and good luck with your build man! Merry Christmas!

    • @FullDrawOutdoors
      @FullDrawOutdoors  Před rokem

      yeah its close to about an inch. Some ride quality was lost. I think if you went with a fox strut instead of putting a billet block in, it would be a much nicer ride. Also if someone came out with a nice one piece spring instead of the black in the rear as well, this kit would dominate simply because you dont have to cut anything like a true suspension lift.

I also just ordered some 35” Kenda Klever tires and the Fuel Rebels in 20x10 with -18 offset. I know the camera angles when filming can be deceiving, but is the stance as aggressive as it appears? I also do not have the fender flares and I’m concerned it’s going to look a bit off with only a 3.5” lift. Appreciate the help!

    • @FullDrawOutdoors
      @FullDrawOutdoors  Před 3 lety +1

      My opinion is it looks just right even though its only 3.5 inches of lift. See to me the stance doesn't look that good in the video and when in person the truck looks much meaner looking. The tires stick out about a inch maybe Inch and a half. For me I was trying to get a less aggressive stance so I wasn't throwing stones. So I might buy the factory flares and have them painted to match as well. I Just installed the Rebel hood and got it on the truck today. So I'll be doing another video in the days to come.

So it’s light years better. But I was given a ram rental while they fixed my computer, I put a 100 miles on it, and well you can defiantly tell my truck is stiffer. An you feel bumps more. But over all it’s still great for being a lifted truck. I’m going to look into getting a bigger strut so I don’t have to compress that spring, just add the top plate and I think that will make it ride closer to that stock feeling.
