    I recently bought a 2014 F-150. the previous owner installed 3" spacers (Leveling Kit), It looked great but had no suspension travel, the ride was hard as a rock and when you hit a bump in the road the front end bounced all over the road. So i decided to get a real lift kit. I came across a Ready Lift 7" kit on offer up, it was missing one of the knuckles so I called Ready Lift and they didn't just send me the missing knuckle they sent me a matching pair no questions asked free of charge. Great customer service.

    I have a 3.5-inch SST on my '17 F-350 CC, short bed, PS and it takes the 38x13.5 Ridge Grapplers just fine; 1.25-inch steel spaces with stock Platinum wheels. I chose this route to keep the heavier Snow Plow springs on my truck.

Method NV wheels going on tomorrow as well to finish off the lift, wheel, tire setup. In comparison to a Rough Country kit my brother ran on a Tacoma, I find the ReadyLift to be much nicer. Good stuff. I'm new to all these but thanks to CZcams am learning a lot. I am going back and forth between getting a full size suv like a gmc yukon at4 or denali, or an f150 platinum or raptor, leaning to the f150's. I'd like to level the f150 or lift the suv, say 2-3"s, and add bigger tires. Love the 35's, at least on the f150's, though the 37's on the raptor if i go that route would be awesome. In any case, I see f150's leveled with 2", 2.5" and 3", so which actually levels an f150, and if it's the 2", and you do a 3" level, does that mean you add a 1" lift in the rear, or are you left with it dancing around level but not being exactly level depending on which number of inches you get? And two, the yukons and tahoes and escalades have adjustable air suspension and magna ride. How will a lift on such an suv affect those, affect the air ride? If normal minimal road clearance is 8", and in 4H you can go to 9" and 4L to 10", if you add a 2" lift, does that also raise the air ride, so that normal road clearance becomes 10", 4H can go to 11" and 4L to 12", or if not, does the lift screw up the effectiveness of the air ride? Or is there something to be done to raise the air ride also, and does that cause problems? Thanks. I'm not sure who to ask or where to go to learn about this air ride question.

I had them replaced at an established suspension shop.... asked them to measure the distance from hub to the fender as the maker of this product recommends.... measurements are as they should be .... and still have had the ball joints worn out... mechanic says that I have to get a spacer for the knuckle , where the upper control arm and ball joint meets the factory knuckle. @@hunter4150 im rockin the 6" 20x10x12.50 -19 offset minor rubbing at full lock on uneven terrain. Just do whats best for you and your budget. Friends always say wow your truck rides super smooth. Feels same as stock to me (ride quality). I chose bds for the warranty and keeping factory angles the same to reduce wear! But you do you! 👍👊

    I just installed a 3 1/2 inch SST on my 2019 ram 1500. No factory lift no off-road package. I have checked the torque multiple times realigned the vehicle multiple times in the past week I’m getting a popping noise under the front driver side over small bumps. Any ideas about ready to remove this kit.

    I seen where they say not to add their product to the Chevy Colorado Diesel? I have found many people on several blogs do just this as they say it doesn’t effect anything at all.
    What’s the truth about adding the 3.5” to my Diesel Colorado.

    • @CustomOffsetsTV
      @CustomOffsetsTV Před 2 lety

      Typically, the springs and shocks aren't meant for the added weight of the diesel engine/trans. Is the most common reasoning

    Seriously considering the 69-3065 for my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer EXT. It lifts it 2" in front, 1" in rear. Nothing extreme. It's about the only kit I've found that will fit the EXT model (the extended length model). A lot of kits say they will fit the standard wheelbase model, but not the EXT. :(

    Just ordered a 3.5” ready lift kit with the Bilstein rear shocks for my 2018 Silverado. There are so many so called leveling kits out there that don’t actually “level” your truck! It’s almost impossible to know wtf your getting! Just tell us what the kit does when you feature it! I don’t want any squat or any rake after install. Does this kit LEVEL THE TRUCK?? I know this video wasn’t featuring a particular kit. I’m just frustrated trying to get all the information so I’m not buying and ending up with what I don’t want!
