I mained the drakon in the campaign of black ops 3 because in my opinion, it was the most versatile gun! Being able to shoot sniper rounds at a quick rate made me feel so powerful, & putting a thermal scope on it was just like spraying gasoline out of a garden hose at an already raging forest fire!

I love how the Barret not only shakes your screen if someone's shooting next to you but constant fire of the gun deafens you and those around you. My brother served in Iraq when they had to take out a target. The guy was on a bridge above him, he told me how the guy got shot with a Barret 50 and the guy was simple missing his upper half from his shoulder down to the opposite side of his hips. And just folded over down off the bridge. Why games say any armor piercing stuff does less damage to people is beyond me.

I remember reading somewhere that having good voice lines in an RTS is extremely important because you will be hearing them over and over again.
Sandstorm isn't an RTS, but it damn well knows the value of good voice lines. It helps that the former lead game developer is Insurgency Source's sole voice actor (and Black Mesa's HECU voice) and a former Marine. Everyone in Sandstorm and Source acts confident when relaxed, but screams like children when under fire, which brings them more character than the standard ultra-cool ultra-tactical COD characters. Big shout-out to the Insurgent Mercenary, who while being Russian which tends to be stereotypically gruff-voiced and weak grasp of English, is one of the _highest-pitched_ characters out there.

I said the enemy, but that doesn't just mean one hostile target, it can mean a country, an organization, etc. Though if it was one guy you were aiming at, unless your parked with the rear of the aircraft to a wall while staggering the shots.. then being able to hit on that one guy and dig his grave means you did the last part with your aircraft doing the digging, not the gun.
