This admittedly looks a bit daunting, but we can **simplify** the problem easily, by reducing similar terms (top has (x-1)^2 on both terms, so reduce everything by that amount, leaving you with the bottom being (x-1)^4).
From there you have both terms on the top being 2(x+2)(x-1) - 3(x+2)^2. This looks daunting, but neat trick, if you have like terms you can remove them without having to do too much multiplication, and since they both have an x+2 on both terms you can split it up like this:
2(x+2)(x-1) - 3(x+2)^2 = (x+2)[2*(x-1)-3(x+2)]= (x+2) [2x-2-3x-6]= (x+2)[2x-3x-2-6]=(x+2)[-x-8].
We have the top term (x+2)(-x-8) and the bottom term (x-1)^4, so the solution is (x+2)(-x-8)/(x-1)^4.
It definitely needs a few rules to look up at worst, but its ultimately easy enough as its just basic calc.
