As a city fan I hope it's the latter and they drop off again. But this will be an epic end to the season I predict 👍
I can’t see Wojciech Szçzsney leaving the starting GK spot at Juventus to be a backup at Arsenal. Although i suppose if Juventus is moving on and he feels like he’s at a part of his career where he’s willing to step back then maybe. He’d certainly be one of the best backup GK’s in the world

Hey guys love the effort you are keeping up. Is there any chance you could bring back team talk on some level (even if its one episode every few months)? I know you guys are under the pump already but it was probably the best show you had on here and its been a shame to see it go.
Wolves went for Gyokores last year, he was going to join but wolves didn't finish the paperwork because the chairman was away on business and they didn't wanna finalise the move with out him -.-
this is not true at all, what a dumb story, he turned down every midtable prem club, including wolves

@@nunoboss8 the owners do this often, we had a best deal on the table for Enzo Fernandez before the Sporting deal too but the club is determined not be forced to pay extra, we missed out on a striker in the January because the agents wanted and extra million - Gyokores has also commented on how close he was to a Wolves move so the story is accurate, but believe whatever you want to not feel silly for commenting on stuff you aren't in the know about 👍
@@nunoboss8 plus at the time the club was skirting the edge of FFP breaches so it makes sense any large outlay would need signing off from the chairman, baring in mind the volume of key sales we needed to pay to avoid FFP issues and penalties like Everton received and them and Forrest will also receive again taking those sort of precautions could be seen as wise because Gyokores was a gamble at the time

I agree with him with our fringe players/squad players, you never get a sense that they are pushing our starters. only position I see competition is Left Back but thats because this season I wouldnt say we have had any proper standouts over there. We could become much better if Arteta actually trusts guys enough for us to rotate more (not just against relegation prospected teams at home) and that will only be possible by increasing the quality of the squad.
Do think that Benji sesko deserved a mention for that striker move
I think I’d try and sell:
Nelson, Nketiah, Zinchenko and I’d listen to offers for Jesus. I’d bring in a ST, winger and LB backup for Timber. And another CM if Jorginho goes

imo Partey has to go this summer. when hes played hes been poor imo and his injury record leaves a lot to be desired.
I personally think that the best option for us would be a 6 who can do what jorgi does now but better. a deep play maker, but a player that can also break up an attack.
So difficult to suggest players to sign cos I just feel that if they aren’t coming into the starting 11 then they have to be okay with sitting on the bench so much. We have esr, vieria, nketiah, Nelson etc all on the bench but can’t get minutes apart from mikels weird 88th min subs. Why would a player of enough quality want to come and sit on the bench
As a newcastle fan i can honestly tell you that isak is one of the best strikers weve had in a long time !! Hes got a goal every other game for a ratio of a goal every 112 mins !! For a player who hadnt been that prolific before he joined hes turned out to be class !!

Isak to replace Nketiah and rotate between Jesus and Havertz. They can play winger, no10 no8 no9. Zubimendi over Douglas Luiz bc Arteta idea is to play Rice mainly as no8. Zubi link up play with Odegaard and Isak what we want to see. The same trio who beat Madrid. Zubi 90% defensive action, 90% aerial duel won is we need to win second ball in midfield. Nico Williams, too young 19 years old but high ceiling. He can cover both LW and RW best to rotate between Martinelli and Saka. Lastly Frimfong from Leverkusen, madness 8 goals 7 assist as a RB. Ben and Kwior can cover CB if needed.

Emile Smith Rowe is amazing and would be a miss if we do sell him. If he can stay fit he will thrive. Nelson can go as can Eddie they are great assets to sell and I'm sure Midtable in the Prem would be great for them someone like Palace if Olise/Eze goes. We need to bolster the front line give a credible backup to be able to rest Saka and not lose a step in performance and a Striker who can give us something different like Ivan Toney or maybe even Taiwo Awoniyi I'm also hearing reports of Marcus Thuram being available. Midfield would be the next area after the frontline sell Partey off to Saudi and get a credible DM to help Rice.
Striker #9 - Isak or Gyokeres
Midfield 8.5 - Frenkie DeJong
Backup Midfield #6 - Zubimendi
Back up Winger #7 - Bakeyoko
Back up Keeper after we sell Ramsdale.

I think any big side who signs Onana is going to really expose him as being all physical attributes and not enough teckers and football IQ. Ok as a squad player to be robust and give legs but not for a top side who want to kick on. He'd suit a Palace or Wolves much more so than a Utd or Arsenal.
Smith-rowe got man of the match and was very good, especially after having no game time. Madness to let him go.
Tough decisions have to be made and his is easily the most sellable asset we have
@gunmankhan8167 fair point. But would say... before I'm selling one of our best hale end talents I'm selling, Nelson, Partey, Ramsdale, Nkehtia, Tierney, and Lokonga. So many players to raise funds before we let someone as talented as Smith-rowe go surely?
@@gunmankhan8167 It's sellable because he's a very unique profile, Technical, Physical and versatile enough to play multiple positions, something that is a huge asset to have as a squad player and add in he counts as a Home Grown Talent for the club which is another thing that is highly helpful when deciding whom to sell and whom to keep

Arteta not playing a guy who has recently had surgery and missed most game time isn't him not trusting him, this is the same logic people used to give to say Arteta doesn't trust Saliba.
