  • With the final month of the season upon us, it's time to rank the top teams in Europe by their performances this campaign!
Do Arsenal and Man City's exits from the Champions League count against them? And what about Liverpool following recent defeats to Atalanta and Crystal Palace?
Are Real Madrid as good as their league form suggests? And has Bayern's win over Arsenal salvaged an otherwise disappointing campaign?

Real Madrid came into a season without their 1st choice Gk, 1st choice CBs, without a recognized striker, losing their top DM in Thouameni and best player in Vini for large stretches of the first half of the season even Mendy wasn't available for the firs 2 months and still only lost 1 league game and a copa in extra time to only Atleti, top of their league and into the UCL semis.
If ManCity had done something like this I've no doubt they'll be top of everyone's ranking.
Because Barça wasn't at it for longer periods this year doesn't make it an easy ride. What? you forgot Girona and Atleti in the 1st half of the season? Last year Barça won the Liga with 10 points and they were incredible defensively that didn't mean La liga was easy.
And to everyone saying they are lucky. You said that the last time they beat the 3 best teams in the EPL to win the UCL you also said that Zizou was lucky to do the 3 peat. If this is what you call luck then I'd be happy to be lucky forever if I were Real Madrid.

Madrid were more clinical, more qualified in defense, and held their never in the shootout. There is more than one way to football. They did not get "Battered", It was an incredibly mature performance, that's why they have been so dominate in European football for the last century.

La Liga race has not been underwhelming, unless you don't appreciate Michel & Girona. Girona were breaking records in terms of points & achievements, they were basically Bayern Leverkusen until Real Madrid went on to win away & at home. The title race was really tight, I think Girona recently is getting bad decision against them(RFEF need Saudi money cause of the clause in their contract, they need Barca to be 2nd or they lose money).
Girona are very underrated & most don't pay attention to them because how convincingly Real Madrid beat them. Also, City were lucky to get a draw at Bernabeau.

Jude is playing through injury, Fede is exhausted, Real have to constantly wonder if they will have 4 fit and eligible players for a coherent backline each week, VIni, as well as the entire backline and Real's rotation squad have had injury issues...
City have Gvardiol, Ake, Akanji, Dias, Rico, Walker all mostly available. Foden, Alvarez, Haaland, Silva, Doku, Grealish for their Frontline.... Injuries didn't hinder City... Real just know how to get the result. Therefore they're the better team.

      @@hamzaafc06 You're waffling.
Real Madrid in 1st 30minutes had multiple chances & it was not parking the bus, it was a mid block. In fact, it was a hybrid mid block & the team would adapt deeper if City pushed. A low block doesn't have only 4-6 players in the box, they'd have around 6-8.
In fact, Real Madrid chose to win professionally considering the players they had. Would you like them to be amateurs like Barca who gave away the leg with red card & bad penalties? They defended as a united team. It's hard to grasp for someone with negative football knowledge. Dominated my ass, City didn't have clearer chances to say it's domination. Unbeaten this season won the bundesliga already in the final of the German cup and the semi-finals of the Europa league leverkusen could still win a treble and be invincible at the same time, I’ll be very impressed if u can give me a logical explanation as to why their not top😂

28:57 this is a big lie. ALOT of people had arsenal finishing 4th or worse. People didn't believe Arsenal would be anywhere near where Arsenal are.

@Mak_Vintage you have a good memory lol I can't really remember.
I do remember like halfway through last season thinking it was a big one off, but then we kept going for so long that even after we 'bottled' I just knew this team is different now.

in what World is PSG better than Barca, they mostly won because of the red card, and they are 2x the player quality and squad depth yet they seem to be losing before they are up a man, their domestic record speaks for itself considering their Player quality and compared to Barca, if it weren't for the Red card Barca would've had a real shot at winning the title the Chelsea way, What Barca did with Injuries VS PSG without... PSG isn't top 10 by any margin unless they beat Madrid in the Final, and am not saying Barca is good necessarily.

PSG is better than Barca. Their players are better, they are in the final of the French cup. Won a cup already and beat Barca despite how you feel.
