Damn, all the bolts go in the valve cover to sort later. 5 minutes and some Tupperware bowls or coffee cans, even ziplocks and a sharpie. Would save time and damaged block later.

if you want to get more torque out of your impack put a bit of oil in your air inlet of your impack works every time
Why would you tear that engine down in all that filth? How hard is it to clean the engine before the work...........
poor cylinder head is like heyyyy im warping here. one straight socket would of probably done the trick much faster... lots of tq lost in between those. just a suggestion lol

I have a 2011 sportsman 800 the engine is torn down all the way to the crank. I can’t feel any play in the rods but is there any way to tell if my main bearings are bad without splitting the cases ? My sportsman is making a ticking noise and I found two bad lifters and cam but not sure if that’s the whole problem. Thanks in advance.
When you removed the counter balance, what is the size of the three bolts used? 6mm is too big, and 5mm is too small.
i broke my crank case on the bottom where drain plug is i hit a rock do i have to take it apart like this to change it maybe might as well rebuilt it?

Can you split the bottom end with out removing top end? i just want to change the crank seals.
Warren Moore I may be wrong but I think there is a company that offers a seal that is installed from the out side on some bikes
Where would I buy a good rebuild kit at? I have found some on ebay just don't know if they are junk or not.
We sell them. There are a lot of junk out there, so just make sure you do your research. I'd stay away from Amazon, but that's just me. Let me know if you have questions.
