Sooo...I kid you not. This is one of the the videos that my daughters watched before she left. I remember it because of the part about you tripping, lol. This was very helpful. I hope you continue to make videos because this is very important to new soldiers and also their parents. I could only tell her my experience but that was so long ago that I don't know how helpful it was. But your video really helped her prepare mentally. Thank you and I wish you much success in the future. ❤
@@Gravesgogetit unfortunately I don’t have much advice that route both prior service were males so I’m not sure after training took place for the day if they had any special privileges! But good luck 🍀
Hey, I love your video! I was wondering what are the hours/careers like? Like is it a 9-5? Do you work 7 days a week? Can you choose your hours? Also I was thinking about joining the Navy I know that they travel a lot, is it the same for you or? And I know that the Navy pays for your living situation is it the same with national guard?
@@Adorenai222 Hey! Thanks!! & I can’t say if the Navy info will be the same but for Army National Guard you still pay for your own living situation most people work a reg. job since national guard is only once a month. if your active & staying on base in barracks they’ll pay for u & u won’t pay for much but the food expense out your check other things u want. if your active you’ll do MOS u choose during your work day as your job which varies depending on what u score and choose joining for example, there’s mechanics, cooks, medics, human resource people. & for national guard they have a option called AGR Which is basically like full time national guard so u work full time in uniform which is mostly mon-fri like a 9-5 ( ofc sometimes it may vary with the hours ) & usually the hours are set. job options vary if your doing it national guard but it’s all up to openings and you maintaining everything like passing scores on the pt test etc so for example , i’m national guard but I was gonna do AGR job as my reg job instead of working a civilian. get some active duty benefits but your still national guard so u still drill once a month
@@anggg.j thank you!! Where did you go to AIT? I should be going to fort Lee (Virginia) and did you have time in ait (maybe weekends) to leave the base and explore the state?
Ive been slacking on a part2 lol! but i’ll def answer that for u, it’s actually not as bad u get personal time to handle hygiene .. posting today with more detail💓💓💓

Soooooo when can I wear my long lashes again? I’m going in for Army Active Duty.
Lol after training , but they can’t be super long they have to look natural .
Did you have any prior service in your platoon?
Yes just one in both my ait platoon and in basic training
Ok I'm prior service ANG 11c, I ship back to basic at jackson soon. I've heard mixed things about privileges. Do you have any input on that?
