Your vocalFM is using a patch called "Wet Piano" - Is that right? I've been looking everywhere for that. Can you tell me where it came from?

@@GeminiHorror Found it! - For future reference to anyone else looking for it: It's not in the default Dexed "cartridge". You have to load the "SynprezFM_06.syx" cartridge. And inside of that, it's patch 24.
There are a TON of sounds inside Dexed. I just ordered my MIDI cable and looking forward to finally getting those sounds loaded in from the PC.

I got myself one of these and it is by far my favorite of the volcas that I've tried out. Great video, the yellow falls sounds good with it too.

I'm pretty sure Behringer is used to people calling their gear crappy by now lol. That being said, I have a few of their new synths and they're actually pretty good though.

I tried sysex librarian
The patch simply won’t load
That hiss in the background make me unable to reach for my credit card
Pretty sure that might be from the delay

Hiw did you get your Volca connected to the delay pedal? It only has 3.5mm cable jacks but the pedals need a 1/4 inch...
3.5mm to quarter inch adapters. They cost like $2 a piece in most places.

1 it is too small to play live like a keyboard synth so clearly is program for pattern/preplanning for short sequence. 2 have auto program with sequences like arpeggio/for djing or live playback? Djing or live playback could consider copyright less? or materials are not consistent, musically?? one of many concerns??

I started to use dexed to have more pattern in volca FM and it was great! but i don´t know why the four buttons on the right (play, rec, memory and func) stopped working.
And of course, without the memory and function buttons i can´t go back to factory reset. Any help will be great! thanks!

Gemini Horror Somehow i decided to go with 3,5mm stereo to two 6,35mm TS jacks.
I bought the Same Delay. When i use my headphones, i can only Hear Sound on the left. Do i have to adjust something in the fm. Can somebody help? Plz
You may be using a stereo lead where you need a mono
Would be super helpful to get a lead on which DX7 Patches you are using. Looks like there is a massive amount of libraries avail. Are you just using the original 4 ROMs?

I think it’s mono? It’s a 1/4” to 1/8” adapter then I use regular guitar 1/4” cable

What's the point in using a Volca FM over Dexed?
Like if they're both digital why does it matter? They do sound different because the volca is more limited than dexed. I think that's part of it, the limitations, on the computer there's lots of options

You don't need a computer, it works right out of the box
DO you have top have a midi keyboard that has a midi cable on it ? because i am using the nektar impact gx49 so how would that work with the volca fm hook up?
Not sure, maybe try a usb to midi cable? Otherwise you'd need a computer with a audio interface that has midi out on it
A normal USB midi cable would probably not work as it requires a USB Host device like a computer. There exist dedicated Midi USB Host boxes for this purpose. Look it up if you're interested. I think it is also possible to build one from a raspberry pi

I either use a 1/8" to 1/4" cable or a male 1/8" to female 1/4" adapter

Really any that you can adjust, what's not so great about the fm chorus is you can change rate or depth or anything
I have a question. When you are in the menu and the volume parameter means something other than the volume (let's assume it's feedback)
Is it going to change the feedback feedback by giving automation to the volume knob ???
I assume only if you're in recording mode, it's probably safe if the recording button isn't light up
HI im pretty new to Volca FM world. recently I wanted to import some patches by Dexed but I realized that velocity doesn't work on those patches and I couldn't figure it out how to resolve the issue or maybe there is no any solution for that.
