This looks very realistic indeed! Shame that there aren’t completed ones for every park and then you could still ‘visit’ them when in isolation. 😉 VR would be great for this.
I think they're working on making it VR compatible 🙂
@@ScrewyLoops I think phase two won't be VR but phase 3 might according to the Devs. Were currently in Phase 1 and I'm estimating 6-7 months until we see phase 2
If want to ride the smiler or oblivion in VR then download no-limits rollercoaster 2, not only can you create your own rides but also download thousands from around the world & ride them all VR.

Actually insane, didn’t realise how much I remember about the small details in xsector, including the layout of the chicken restaurant XD hope this gets developed upon more
The graphics and light render are amazing, this looks so real!!! I feels like planet coaster or no limits but it immediately feels very real

I had no idea this existed. Alton Towers is my happy place, it’s where I bonded properly with the people who are now my best friends. We had planned to visit the park again once our A Levels were over. Now they’ve been cancelled and everything is on lockdown it’s nice to know this exists for us to still (sort of) visit. Hope you’re doing well in this uncertain time ☺️

Smiler and Nemesis are the rides I want to get on the most whenever I go to Alton Towers. I only go to Oakwood in the Halloween season so I don't develop craving for theme parks. Megafobia though, I miss it every moment I'm not on it. Why can't we have 21:51 as the actual soundtrack?

I have really bad motion sickness (I've blacked out on loops before) so I can't really ride roller coasters anymore. But I still love watching them.
Smiler is the only coaster I've found where my stomach still churns just watching POVs, it's that intense. It also has fantastic theming.
If I could still ride roller coasters and ever went to the UK, I'd definitely want to be "marmalized"!

Reminds me so much of last Summer especially waiting in the Smiler queue at the end of the day in the bright sun... some fantastic memories (and a bit of sunburn) that you've just brought back, I love how casual your delivery is, very very good video. at least The Smiler's music isn't blaring the entire time through the queue to give you the feeling of going insane you definitely get in the queue in real life.
Fun fact: if you go on their discord, you can request to help them out by making an asset if you have decent modeling skills. It helps speed up the progress
this is good missing smiler so much I been lookin forward to it since august and I am so gutted but this brought me a little bit of joy at home :)

My first ride that went upside down was The Smiler. I was planning on going on Nemesis first but somehow ended up going on the Smiler... I was actually surprised that the worst bit about it was the blood going to my heads and feet.
It's even the coaster with the most inversions. 14!! Hahaha

Ive never met anyone else who had enterprise as their first ride they went upside down on! After enterprise I got the confidence needed for the actual big rides

Has to be one of my favourite sections at towers. I got to ride the smiler for the first time last year and it's now my favourite ride. Was saw before this. Also oblivion might be a tad old now but it's still a awesome coaster. Can't wait to get back there again.

amazing vid, x-sector is my fav alton towers area so great to see this after not being able to attend opening day :) also ngl i hate vertical lift hills, they just freak me out for some reason
I love the smiler it’s my favourite ride but I hate the vertical bit, it just makes me feel like I’m about too fall out and I would ride anything I just hate going vertically up I don’t mind vertically down

I’ve never even been out of America besides for Mexico and Canada maybe Hawaii but eh so this is a nice chance for me to see what they have.
The Tesla on Oblivions queue line, was from the old 3D cinema I believe. The latest version has spinball whizzer and Wickerman. Download through Itch App on pc. There is a bug, but I've done a short video on my channel how to get passed it. Watched their live stream the other night, the work they done, with Unreal 4 is amazing!

I went on Smiler for the first time recently, and I couldn't get the Smiler soundtrack out of my head. I really annoyed my misses and the other people in my group by singing it while walking around the park. It is one of the best soundtracks to a ride that I have ever experienced. Do you think most of Oblivion looks like the thunderbirds lair
You missed a couple of places. Theres a secret garden see if u can find it. And also u can go into the smiler station.. all I will say is happy shopping that's your clue lol

WooperGooper it’s not multiplayer YET but that’s the idea on release but it’s a long long way off release
You can get into smilers station by going in single rider and trying it from different angles
People say saw is too rough but I think it’s ok, it’s only a little rough in the last inversion

Back is better as I'm scared of heights haha oblivion is the only ride in the park I don't go on anymore.
The only cons on The smiler is the music raping your eardums at the furst lift and the sketchy 90° lift

for editing 4K that CPU is perfect! Maybe try recording in a different codec and lowering your preview quality! Not too sure about the GPU though, but shouldn’t be too bad!
I think it's because the footage I shoot is in 100mbps which can give the computer a bit of working. I downgraded my editing software to an earlier version and it seems to run pretty good now 🙂👍
I've only been on the back of Oblivion but next time I go I'm 100% going to try and get on the front. Do you recommend the end? I was in the middle and it was good but I feel like being on the end would be amazing!
Front end is probably the best seat to be fair, feels almost like a wing coaster as you're practically over the sides of the track 🙂👍
Best moment I had in Alton towers was scare fest. Even tho going in it was fake and just acting still was shitting my self through every maze

The smiler feels great when ive ridden it, no roughness at all even on the 4th row, Chris i don't remember the halfway corrected, im going to have to listen really closely

My game keeps closing when I get to the second oblivion loading screen, any tips? I set all my graphics and stuff to low just in case aswell
Interesting that it still says "Halfway Corrected" when they removed all references to correction from the ride

You should've upped the fps to the max option, it won't effect recording, in fact, it would improve it!
