How to convert Multiple videos (VLC media player, Lossless)

On my VLC you do not have to do one by one, it goes thru the files automatically, I have just updated VLC maybe that is your problem. Thanks for the video anyway

Why can't you export to a new file location. You just accepted it wasn't editable/changeable in your video without explanation. I don't want to write to the same folder location (it's on an old DVD)

My VLC interface looks nothing like that, there is no ribbon at the top and no "Media" selection menu. All I have for conversion options is the export option in the File menu that only converts one file at a time. I'm on Mac, so maybe that is it. I have the latest VLC version 3.0.11.1

I'm trying to batch convert hundreds of .avi files to .mp4 on a Mac. Handbrake can do the batch thing, but it makes digital distortion. VLC make nice files, but can't do the batch thing....
