Combine multiple videos using VLC media player [2022]

The command is:
vlc.exe 1.mp4 2.mp4 --sout "#gather:std{access=file,dst=final_file_name.mp4}" --sout-keep
For my case, in Windows 11 system, the command would be:
"c:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" VIDEO_1-converted.mp4 VIDEO_2-converted.mp4 --sout "#gather:std{access=file,dst=final_file_name2.mp4}" --sout-keep

Yes I did. These videos are mainly for myself, and not made with any professional mic or editing. The goal is to provide the solution. But I will keep the audio issue in mind, as you've suggested.

Video is supposed to be about merging files, but he first 4 minutes is converting files. That should be a separate video. And You don't even show how to use VLC, You go tot he command line, which is totally unnecessary. Gawd you are so bad at this.

For some reason, the whole process doesn't work if the input files were not converted first.

The reason behind the conversion part is to avoid errors in case a user decides to merge videos with differents forms. This is what I call a COMPLETE tutorial that covers everything including EVENTUAL error messages. May God help this world where stup*id people think they know better.
