pink floyd - money
led zeppelin - no quarter
king crimson - 21th century schizoid man
Or Red
No quarter is such an underrated riff. The tone on their studio version is amazing
Or LTIA part 2
@@BigMamaBlack no quarter is probably leds best song
I think pink floyd have many good riffs but the best is wish you were here although it's on acoustic
These boys sadly didn't make the cut:
1. Breaking the Law
2. Immigrant Song
3. Take Me Out
4. Bring It On Home
5. Into the Void
6. Burn
7. Man on the Silver Mountain
8. Achilles Last Stand
9. Heaven and Hell
10. N.I.B.
11. Crazy Train
12. Thunderstruck
13. Do I Wanna Know?
14. The Man Who Sold the World
15. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
16. South of Heaven
17. Last Resort
18. Smooth
19. Moby Dick
20. Raining Blood
Song 2?
Also no doors
@@CalebthegiganticMariofan Krieger wasn't a prolific riff guy.
@@themanwithnoname9752 well he’s my favorite musician ever so
Roadhouse Blues
Break on Through
LA Woman
The End
He definitely had better solos tho, listen to these lol:
Light my Fire
The End
When the Music’s Over
Five to One
The Soft Parade
Roadhouse Blues
Riders on the Storm
@@CalebthegiganticMariofan I am a huge Doors fan, I like most of their songs and like Krieger's playing very much but Krieger didn't write many quality riffs even though he was an amazing guitar player, his signature playing were crucial to The Doors' music. He was a brilliant soloist. The Doors were a unique band of amazing musicians.
Now Manzarek's keyboard is where it's at, arguably the most iconic keyboard player in rock music history with some of the most amazing keyboard work you could find.
I think The Rolling Stones and The Beatles had more amazing riffs than the ones that were shown.
such as Hey Bulldog, And Your Bird Can Sing, Brown Sugar, Bitch and Jumpin’ Jack Flash
Don't forget Helter Skelter and Gimme Shelter.
The Beatles were not a riff band. They were a good band but objectively their "riffs" don't belong on the list
As a huge Beatles fan, you guys should stop with the “beatles did this and that”
Like genuinely, people legit think they were a riff band?? I dont remember the last time i listened to a Beatles song for the riff
@@hendrikheemels8615 Gimme Skelter
Sultans of swing at 42 is a war crime
And having the killers above them is wild
@@crazytanks2001 ikr😭
War crime? Joke
The Floyd fans are gonna be pissed.
Yes. Syd had some great riffs Interstellar overdrive 🎸
@@parjunwijken6406 lucifer sam. Money should have been there.
In all truthfulness, Floyd aren't really a riff band. But money had to be there.
@@doscwolny2221 very true. But they do have many good riffs like “learning to fly” “run like hell” or even “young lust”
@@doscwolny2221 "Money" is more of a bass riff, which the guitar doubles.
I Want You (She’s So Heavy), I Feel Fine, Hey Bulldog?
I feel fine just no man
one of their best and most creative riffs😐@@walrus413
Sorry, but Whole Lotta Love at #24 is fuckin joke
I like how all the different genres are represented
Whole Lotta Love is the king of riffs🎸
Whole Lotta Love is most definitely the greatest ever but this dude put it at #24, didn't do his homework I guess.
I think their best riff with electric guitar is heartbreaker, but their actually best riff is stairway to heaven although is on acoustic
Heartbreaker is a better page riff
@@donjohn2695 They're equally good!
Holy diver- Dio ?????
Stargazer- Rainbow too!!
Oui pas mal, mais je lui préfère "Fever Dream"
Come As You Are needs to be in there
Truu
no forbidden riff ?
Thats what i was thinking
It’s a lick not a riff
Oh wait did u mean stairway to heaven ye it should be here
@@CalebthegiganticMariofan it's definitely a riff
This list could include more modern riffs like No One Knows by QOTSA, Sowing Season by Brand New, Transdermal Celebration by Ween, New Noise by Refused, or Reptilia by The Strokes
Ween should definitely be here, Transdermal Celebration is a masterpiece
That's taste, good picks
Where's Misirlou? (However, besides that, nice top as always)
master of puppets riff should have been here easily because creeping death and enter sandman made the list.
My thoughts exactly😮
Its number 1 for me, Hail to the king not on here is also a crime.
Jimmy Page the goat
A video for guitar riffs with no Rage Against the Machine is crazy
i was waiting for hotel california
No Money - Pink Floyd?
More thought of as a bass riff
We have the same profile pic! Although it is an amazing song, it is a bass riff. Us And Them should have been there. It has great structure.
Yea that’s true, I think Interstellar Overdrive could have been here,
@ sanadcanmahmoud w pfp
No Queen love here? Tie Your Mother Down, Stone Cold Crazy, or even I Want It All?
Love to see the Led Zeppelin love!
Underated indie band
The greatest riff master Jimmy Page.
The Chain - Fleetwood Mac?
Great goddamn list, so many life-affirming riffs! Loved where you put Kashmir
#1 should be smoke on the water
You clearly are not a guitarist 😂
it will be played by anyone holding the guitar
Zeps and Sabs each have at least 5 riffs better than Smoke on the Water. Personally, Burn is Blackmore's best riff.
@@sanadcanmahmoud I am a guitarist. I thought the video was most recognizable riffs of all time. Everyone, regardless of who you are, has heard smoke. I just read the title of the video and realized it is the “greatest” riffs lol 😂
@@Daryl_Phillips_ haha! I really meant no hate, and absolutely everyone has heard smoke. It is a really cool riff, but because it is so overplayed it became a bore. It definitely is not the greatest, but is still really good. Such a shame enter sandman, stairway, and sweet child o mine were not on here. They should have at least made the list am I right?
I love guitar riffs 😎
Nice vid as always, thx for adding rumble
Money for nothing at 18 and seven nation army at 21 is criminal
Thank you sooooo much for adding Sweet Leaf! 🎉
True
Hey Bulldog robbed
In my opinion, I think Godzilla has a better guitar riff than Don’t fear the reaper. It’s so heavy and I love it
not really, Don't Fear The Reaper kicks it's butt, but i can see why would you think that
I knew satisfaction would be one because it is the best
2. Smoke on the Water
3. Kashmir
4. Sweet Child O Mine
5. Layla
6. Back in Black
7. Johnny B Goode
8. You Really Got Me
9. Money
10. Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love
Smoke on the water and sweet child o mine aren't great riffs imo, just very popular songs
AC/DC should’ve been a few more on that list. Iron Maiden as well. Just my thoughts.
Rifftastic.
Amazing riffs❤❤
Satisfaction at #1 is a joke
It's literally the most iconic and recognizable one out there. A 2 year old recognizes this riff.
Why ?? This is the most iconic riff of All time
@@marcelpuklicki There is no reason, there is just a wave of hate against the Rolling Stones that started for no reason at all. Until 1 year ago, the Beatles who were hated, only changed targets.
Jimmy Page has so many better riffs
@@Peeh_Souzano just man in me viewers sadly mostly hate the stones for no reason
Where in the world is Crazy Train? That definitely reaches the top 10 for me easily
You need to do best bassline after
I would have thrown Song 2, Reptilia, Immigrant Song, and Take Me Out on there as well
Early Floyd had some killer riffs:
Interstellar Overdrive
Astronomy Domine
Nile Song
Echoes
Agreed but in the flesh is prob their best
@@Blockoumi I love that one as well, thanks for reminding me of it
Johnny B Goode, the king of the riff👍
25 or 6-4 by Chicago should’ve been in there if not #1.
Excelente gran lista gratos recuerdos abrazo cordial saludos desde medellin Colombia
More people than I thought are agreeing with #1 which is something I find interesting.
Also EVH being here only once is something I disagree with but thats a biased opinion.
44, 23, & 16 are my favorites
Needs more chili peppers tbf to John
Would include Davey Johnstone on his blistering guitar on Saturday Nights Alright for Fighting. That opening riff is iconic. Any guitar player will tell you that his guitar work in that song is not easy to play.
Ziggy stardust, start me up ?
Smok on the water
#1!
By far!
No Man In The Box? Them Bones? Would have also liked to see No One Knows make the list
Angry Chair is better
Killing in the name RATM?
That's insane it's not here tbh
How crazy train is not in the list?
Jumping Jack Flash?
Agree
Where’s I feel fine? Literally one of the most iconic riffs ever
What about Sorrow from Pink Floyd
Where the hell is “Unchained” by Van Halen. It’s arguably the greatest opening riff ever 🤘🏻🎸
No Ozzy 😢
Très bonne analyse, mais il y en a tellement d'autres 👍
Funny enough if you swapped Back in Black’s spot and Whole Lotta Rosie’s spot I’d be on board
Solid list. However, you are missing Hotel California!!!!
Satisfaction is insane, a child would recognize this riff.
@@CalebthegiganticMariofan Bro wtf you're literally a kid.
Have a Cigar? One Vision? Stairway To Heaven? Hotel California?
Whole lotta love Johnny b Goode and money for nothing have to be higher. And crazy train has to be somewhere on there
Kashmir
wish you were here and stairway to heaven deserves a position on the top although they are played on acoustic
10% of these riffs were Led Zep songs. Jimmy was/is a Riff Master 🎸
Can't stop in 49 no no no
Well, definitely a bizarre choice to only have 1 Rolling Stones riff in this list (even if it's #1)
yea the stones are the king of riffs zepplin five in really totally overated
2:31 ❤
I got no satisfaction with Satisfaction being at number 1 it’s a joke 😂😂😂
Helter Skelter and Gimme Shelter are missing.
Steely Dan's "My old School"!???
Can't believe you couldn't find room for at least one Tom Petty song. How about "Out In The Cold", "Makin' Some Noise" or "Change Of Heart"?
Post Crucifixión - Pescado Rabioso
If i get to #1 and find out that ween’s it’s gonna be a long night isn’t on here i’m gonna have a meltdown
So many bangers missing holy shit
layla is like at least number two dawg

Smells Like Teen Spirit & More Than A Feeling both made the list with the same riff 😂
They’re different riffs
Crosroads!!!
Anything played by Donald"Buck Dharma" Roeser!!!
Maiden shoulda had more representation
Shine On You Crazy Diamond?

0:46 ❤
Thunderstruck
Whole Lotta to... Rosie?
why isn't through the fire and flames there???
Crazy Train
Everlong
Where is my mind
The Last Time by the Stones in my opinion is the greatest riff of all time and really should at least feature on here
that list is a fucking joke the stones should have at least another 6 riffs gimmie shelter brown sugar the last time to name a few
at leat the no1 is right
Keef wrote many good riffs.
The Hindu Times,Angry Chair,Foxy Ladie,Ziggy Stardust,Born To Be Wild, Should I Stay Or Should I Go???
Where is ma-ma-ma belle by ELO😭
Good. Overall objective. Although I don’t share your love for the Peppers. Raining Blood Slayer would be better. Thanks for the work!
Love grows where my rosemary goes by Edison lighthouse???????
Frankenstein by Edgar Winter is conspicuously absent
Queen lift ruck community:
