What surprises me is when he says, "It's okay if Mydin's 3rd or 4th generation doesn't want to continue the business legacy; whatever makes them happy, they should do it." This makes me wonder about how profound his understanding is that nothing lasts forever in this world. He’s definitely in another realm at that moment, realizing that this dunya is beyond his control. For what's worth, it’s the akhirah that matters after all. 😊It’s so revolting to hear this coming from him.

Nice story….but those were the days. Everyone wants to be frugal but in today’s society it’s impossible to practice it. He himself also acknowledges the fact mamak will throw back the eggs back to you if you bring your own for roti telur.
I find your interview insightful. However, you may wish to do away with the card game as the answers to the questions are pretty obvious. Moreover, I noticed that Datuk Ameer was more keen to share his life story rather than spending time playing the game 😂

Datuk is a gentleman. The interviewer should have done her homework on the person she will be interviewing. It is a matter of manners to dress appropriately. She should be professional and not let female assets distract the interview.
