HV14YGN & EJ11CKN drivers close pass of cyclist, Essex Police result; warning letters issued

- Warning letters for these horrid close passes was very weak action of Essex Police's part, much slower wider passes and resulted in course or conditional offers being issued. As usual Essex Police were not forthcoming with any assistance explaining their obvious inconsistencies.
Warning letters?! Those should've been points and a fine!

In his clips CykelTony seemed to solicit a more robust response from Essex Police. What has gone wrong with them? Piss poor performance and that's not just from those overtaking.
@andrewatherton316 there's been a sudden change very recently. No idea why. Local campaign group has made enquiries, but no response to my knowledge.
I'm convinced my submissions get NFA due to no time stamps on go pro footage. Or police response is SMIDGAF
@someguymatts I'm not sure what is going on. I've tried to talk to them before and they are very much of the opinion they don't need to explain themselves to members of the public.
I never have date or time stamps on mine, still get processed by west mids police
Poor result again from Essex police - should be a course/con. offer at least I would have thought. Are you managing to get results for recent submissions? I’m finding ‘case not found’ with their new system.
@Julian-pp4ho case not found after a week usually means the system has not been updated, saferessexroads twitter handle can often find out the result for you.
Something has changed very recently, lots of no further actions and the return of ineffective finger wagging letters.
Cheers - I don’t really do twitter/x so I’ll do it the ‘old fashioned way’ with an email. I’m keeping a close eye on the few submissions I make, let’s hope this concerning pattern is short lived - keep safe👍🏻
