Just seen this and as a retired police officer, may I say this is the most appalling behaviour by these three individuals. Inappropriate, unreasonable and unacceptable. They do not have the right to request this individual’s details and indeed even as a police officer, details they can only be requested if there is reasonable suspicion an offence has been committed. I pop round two times a week & go to the shop for him.. My neighbours say im nuts as think he is a weirdo. They dont know anything about him. Yes it’s one thing to be rightly upset at their behaviour but they are acting as they have been instructed. Someone was watching AB on cctv and told them to question and follow AB. There must also be training courses up and down the country telling the police and these safety officers to apprehend the public if they see *anything suspicious*. It’s the people in charge that know this violates your rights but they still go ahead with it.
