I watched Blue Beetle and it was a lot of fun. The action was good I liked the family dynamic and the dad. And most importantly it didn’t do too much to under cut important scenes with jokes which led to some good moments. Over all I liked it. Also I did have an issue with the movie when I first saw it that being the main character was saying stuff like oh yeah or let’s go and at first I thought it was annoying but then I started to like it because it’s what I would probably do as well.
I highly agree with everything you said, the covert racism that people are saying in negative retrospect against this movie and other movies they have done is just a way of being racist under the table. They don’t like it they don’t like anything about it they might like some of the action scenes but I never got admit the good beyond that and the real story art. So they’re gonna keep on spewing the rhetoric because they’re just negative.
I was absolutely height for this movie and when I got the seat in theaters with my girlfriend we absolutely loved it. I’m a fan of DC and Marvel so I knew the origin story of the Beatles and this was pretty dope. It’s a nine out of nine in my book. Just subscribed notifications bell on!!!

I just don't watch superhero movies anymore. These stories just are overly corporate meddling disguised as art. Unlike the comics themselves which are given a lot more freedom due to being much smaller. Sure you might get a good film like gotg 1 to 3 but a lotta times it's just ip management. Now to be clear stuff can be made with a corporation and still be art. But only if the corporation gives enough creative freedom to the artist like the tv show hilda or movies by autor film makers. Essentially if a movie feels overly corporate to me i just can't like it.
Honestly I completely understand. It didn’t feel corporate to me really, but I can understand why it would feel that way to you. There should be more creative freedom to artist, I mean, that’s why the Snyder cut exist in the first place. You can tell how little creative freedom Zack Snyder had and how much he was limited. It’s crazy really.
I do still watch superhero movies, but I don’t know if I’m really gonna keep up with them. I mean, when is it gonna end? Until the MCU fights Galactus or something?

I thought Blue Beetle was an Entertaining movie. Got a few things regarding mexican family life, but not everything. Did that take away from the movie, no, not at all... People should watch it just with a blank expectation, and people should stop comparing it to other movies or heroes.. Just watch it and be entertained...

While I am fully against shallow or poorly written woke pandering that has nearly dominated the film industry in America (especially after educating myself on what the word woke means and its origins.) I am also against equally shallow criticism against films that are objectively good (meaning they are well written) but with the people criticism them using purely subjective (based purely on opinion or external influence outside of the narrative) based on personal opinion or even bias. Calling something “propaganda when it has no such thing in it and it just presents reality as is or the evils in it, is quite idiotic. This kind of meta subjective critic or praise even is something that I see everywhere. And something that’s also helped me be more aware of it is people criticizing the new Godzilla X Kong movie for purely shallow subjective reasons even when the movie hasn’t even come out yet. At best it’s people calling it too cheesy. At absolute worst it’s people calling it woke propoganda just becuase Godzilla has magenta dorsal plates.
blue beetle was trash. The only thing I liked was the effects for the energy blasts. I almost couldn't sit through the beginning with all the racist latin stereotypes of wanting nothing but tacos and burritos.
The movie is cheesy as f, I couldn't finish watching it.

It genuinely wasn't a bad movie. Like I just can't see how it was. It could've been better written but besides that it was at least pretty good
