More awesome information Matt! You have answered questions I have had for years regarding RV's on occasional CAT work.
Hail yes!!! Thank for yet another great video full of awesome intel.
HAIL YES!!! Love the videos. Thanks so much!!!
Thank you for making your videos; as a new adjuster trying to get into the field, i really enjoy your insight. Hail yes!
Hail Yes! Thanks for all the great information as always!
Thanks Matt. We are hoping to make what we already have work.
Great advice. Thank you!
Very informative content brother :). Thank you so much for your valued insights which is so very appreciated.
Great info here. You should make a video highlighting your rig. I'd love to see more details on it
Another great vid Matt! I’ve been teetering on this topic for years now. When working Irma in 2017, I negotiated a steal with an AirBnB owner. $250 a week! Oh. And hail yesss 🤙🏻😄
HAIL YES!
Thanks, Matt.

Hail Yes!
Great comparison, I really appreciate the information and opinions you have shared. I myself have just purchased a 32 foot travel trailer, but unlike the opinion you shared I use it quite a bit as during the spring I am usually using a trailer for my funtime job of white water river guide in Ocoee Tenn. I can say that doing the math and understanding your financial limitations is important in making this decision. So kudos to you Matt and Mrs. Matt, I loved your time management course and really do enjoy watching your videos.
Oh and I don't drink coffee so I hope someone really enjoys the gift card.........

@@Vampyredh They've got tea as well. :) I love the "funtime job!"
I used a 4x8 teardrop. Slept in rest stop while deployed. Showers at flying j Zero cost
I am now deployed in Mobile. So it’s more like moving here first mo th was hotel 2 k per month
Now renting house for four hundred
Saving cash
Please do a video on you rig and what you're dragging behind (the Toyota). Also is it on a trailer or dolly.
Hey, Ed! I can't flat or dolly tow the 4Runner so if we're going on a short jaunt, my wife will just follow in the truck. For longer road trips, I'll rent a flatbed auto hauler.
Do you tow a vehicle for work behind your RV? Thanks for the great videos.
Hail yes!!!
HAIL YES!!
I've got a converted mini school bus, I guess this would be pretty good as an RV. What would you say is the main difficulties with parking when hitting specific sites?
Already have the RV. I'm looking forward figuring out how much of it I can claim as a tax deduction.

Does anyone here run a "slide-in" / "truck camper" ? Has the NI or carrier said anything against it?
I like to be able to stay closer to the claims, and I'm usually deployed to places that either require lots of windshield time or like DFW that just doesn't have RV sites nearby.
I've got my eye on a truck camper that has an onboard generator, other than showing up with your house on the back of the truck it seems perfect.
My other thought is to get a white Sprinter van, but I like my current truck and know how to work on it.
HAile yes!!!! 🙌🙋

Hello Matt, quick question, how restricted/full are RV parks in a major deployment such as hurricanes. I imagine a great deal of IA's run with RV's. Does the landscape for RV's change in these areas during reconstruction?
On hurricane Katrina all my claims were in western Mississippi. The closest campground I could find was in Mobile, AL. Of course, it was also $230 a month.

What's your advice on a sprinter or transit conversion?
The point of the RV is to have an inexpensive way to live away from home on cat. Sprinters/Transits are cool, but not inexpensive. Also, people get the idea that they can sleep in them on the street or just drive the sprinter around to their claims but this idea really only makes sense until a person actually lives in an RV. Then they see that it's not super practical. It certainly can be done and I'm sure people do it, but imho way more trouble than it's worth packing and unpacking everything every single day twice a day.
For newbies, hotel is the way to go for the first couple of years.
Hi, Matt
I'm really interested getting into this career and I live in Houston, Tx. Can you suggest which training school I should go to?
Theadjusterschool.com is down that way.
@@AdjusterTV Thanks ! Matt Love your videos!
Hail yeah. Sitting in Starbucks right now.
Would it make sense to be a staffed cat adjuster? I'm assuming the company would cover all expenses.
Good question. To help you figure out which way to go, check out this video.. czcams.com/video/--mudNgI148/video.html
Gas mileage goes down by 50% when towing
What do you think about the class B?
I think it's a great option, however, I wouldn't suggest living in it while you're running claims. In other words, don't roll up to a property inspection in your RV. Carriers frown on this.
Long term international travel living. US RV, hotel, and travel scene is horrible compared to pre-2020.
