I went to find a suit for a wedding . So many options i wish you were there you could have sort me in no time. I told the salesperson ahh i wish antonio was here. He was like rmrs ? I said yes. He told me he has been told by his manager as a new recruit to look at your videos for extra training.
I like the spread collar because I absolutely love the full winsdor knot. It helps that I have an oval shaped face.
I ordered my first custom shirt for my semi-formal wedding, and I got it with a one piece collar (or a California collar). I like how it doesn't button at the top, perfect for today's no tie culture. I plan on making it my exclusive look, along with the long forgotten cocktail cuff (also called the James Bond cuff/Portofino cuff).

Was always pretty bummed out you didn't do much for vintage styles, that's what i wore and i ended up transitioning the way i wear them with my gender. Anyways glad to see you're still doing what you enjoy, as informative as ever!

Got it Sunday, wore it Monday, simple and works great! Collar stays up all day. I highly recommend it situations where you aren’t wearing a tie.
Conflicting ideas -
1) bigger or square head/face needs wider/spread collar to keep things in proportion (not make you face look big in contrast to narrow collar etc)
vs
2) Contrasting method of pairing the opposite - ie wider face means narrower collar etc (to have slimming/balancing effect).
I have seen James Bond (Daniel Craig) wearing smaller/narrower collar in the later Bond films and they made his head look big and square (narrow/smaller provide a reference to contrast). So personally I subscribe to 1 and not 2

I have a short neck. And I’ve always struggled to wear a nice dress shirt with a tie. I would say the regular collar would be too big for me. The Asian style collar looks good on me. Is there a way I could find a traditional style bud shorter?

Pro tip: Use your younger sister's comparatively thinner hair band which have slight tension in the two ends and fits ur neck. Im already using it and its too damb good. The collar becomes well defined and enhances my look. Im serious!!!

Brooks Brothers still exist, but they sew in China, the quality has long since fallen sharply. who knows not expensive and high quality brands with such a collar?
*Fact*: If you are serious about mens fashion, you should know that wearing a wing collar with a black tie is wrong. You should always wear a turn-down collar with a black tie. Alot of people get this wrong because of Hollywood. Only time you can wear a wing collar with a black tie is when you combine it with a white weistcoat.
Even with a white waistcoat, a wing collar is wrong with black tie because the black band of the tie going along the white shirt fabric is still an eye sore.
Wing collars are also wrong for morning dress and stroller dress because of the colored band of the cravat or tie along the white shirt fabric, which is also an eye sore. Wing collars are only for white tie and tails, where the white band of the tie against the white shirt is perfectly streamlined.
Historically, wing collars were worn with black tie, but gentlemen stopped because, 1, turn down collars were more comfortable and looked better, and, 2, black tie and wing collar became the standard dress for waiters. Restaurant supply shops are still the best source for attached wing collar shirts (which should never be worn with formal wear). An additional reason to avoid a wing collar with black tie is that it requires a fitted tie, which isn't something you'll find in most men's clothing stores today. The same applies to white tie, of course, but it's a bit easier to find fitted white bow ties

So, slim face with a wide spread, small guy with smaller collar, the knot of a tie should fill the spread just enough and keep ayaw from the weird looking collars with odd curves that look like they came out of an old doll dress.

Absurd. A quality button down absolutely can be worn formally with a suit. Have seen thus regularly in the business world for decades. A high quality button down with a sufficient collar, of course.
I'm a woman and subscribed to this channel for informarion on how I can help thinking forward - I want to not necessarily do a bash but for you to make a video for men about ironing there clothes , selecting pant lengths thats right for their height and size of their body/shape for the overall neat and complete look. I notice men where leggings jeggins as women do and its not that flattering especially if you have a big juicy butt that shakes, a high butt doesnt shake but sticks out show men in a video that helps them select clothes jeans and dress pants that flatter these types bodies- additionally make a video about hygene shower skin shave hair cut just a basic video express how important tgis is for overall neat and complete appearance for casual and business settings👍 also I notice men go days without shower wont cut their hair shave wear the same underwear have the nerve to put cologne on top of funk🤷I had a guy once come over days apart with same underwear on I got suspicious made him shower I said isnt that the underwear you had on Tuesday and it was Friday he came over he says its his lucky underwear🤔 when he went to sleep I washed all his clothes just tell men make a habit of being clean and the impression this makes and the percéption it gives it goes beyond dressing nice- its likely you may get more intimacy staying fresh - be consistent - shower then lightly apply nice cologne, wear a clean robe or towel act casual if your consistent you wont be asked why did you shower - just do it - lay in bed not wet mess the bed up😇or walk around nonchalant see what happens. Last beard grooming wild beards are a mess and look like bee hives and wonder if their clean too tell men about how a well groomed beard facial hair or clean shave- my favorite or a groomed 5 o'clock shadow too how all these things tie together for your best look and impression👍
