@@Whitewolf1827 🤣😂🤣😂 hilarious comment suggesting that I would waste my time watching the WNBA and trying to locate fans in the stands like “Where’s Waldo”
@@The.Dude.Abides. its not funny its true if u say that its cause u dont know fans of the wnba
@@The.Dude.Abides.This is genius humor! LMAOL
I bursted out laughing at this comment 😆. It’s sad but true. On the other there are sports where women salaries and notoriety dominate the male counterparts. It is what it is.
They don't make profit lol
NBA’s share is 50%, WNBA is 10% - definitely something to pay attention to.
This is a man should play nba
She's one of my favorite players, I hope someone pulls her to the side and explain there is no revenue to share. If the players aren't careful they're going to end up picking up some of the operational costs that are currently subsidized by the NBA and really have no salaries. That being said there are other areas in the CBA they should negotiate, when college players are eligible, pay grade and scale, business practices and a few other things short-term that will benefit the league long-term.
How much can you get out of negative revenue? 😂😂
Right!! lol
There’s no such thing as negative revenue but I get your point.
Profit and revenue are two separate things
when you sell 1500 tickets in a 20,000 seat stadium, people are LOSING money ...
" The next time I watch a WNBA game, will be the first time I watch a WNBA game."Norm Macdonald.
When you attempt to repeat talking points, but never took the time to think them thru....
Think what through its only fair they get a percentage of revenue
@@Whitewolf1827 Define what you think is the difference between profit and revenue.
Imagine not understanding such a simple concept. THE LEAGUE MAKES NO MONEY
“I don”t get a dime from Jersey sales”
And if you did, it would probably be an extra $200 a year 😂
“ I don’t get a dime from jersey sales” same shit someone waiting for check without working.
After expenses paid... The WNBA does not have enough revenue to share the same percentage as the NBA. Simple economics... End of story.
they're lucky they get paid at all they're losing 10 million a year
The funny thing is they make a higher revenue share than the NBA. It's actual madness.
How many jerseys of yours was sold?
Lol 🤣🤣
If she wears a new one for every game and I’m not sure about that shit show let’s say 25 games they will have 25 units moved, doesn’t mean sold
None!!!!😆😆😆😆😃
If she gets what she's asking for, she needs to start selling all her belongings and take out a huge loan to pay back the debt.
I'm just confused because I can't fathom her speaking from a place of ignorance on the matter, but how can you receive a percentage of revenue shared if there isn't any? Jersey and signature shoe sells I can understand. Am I missing something? The WNBA tv contract is 60 million. Someone help me understand, I'm genuinely confused.
Dont sign the contract then
You obviously don’t know how the Cba works
My man has no understanding of labor negotiations
They could have chosen to go on strike this past season instead of Signing the CBA that they signed.
@@derrickniblack6277 they should go on strike and stay on strike
@@1inamillion367 but answer me this, does the WNBA get more fans/views on tv and money than the NBA.
Your answer: Is “ NO.”
Why because the WNBA is in fact getting paid low, but at what cost, their gameplay can put a baby too sleep in mins, their not equally aggressive and exiting like the men, so that’s why, their views and fans sections not pack like the nba games, because their not playing “ as they is a professional basketball player.” They play like their in the AAU team or G-league.
But whatever
That’s when someone has the finance intelligence of a 2 year old 😂🤣🤭
No clearly u dont have money intelligence.
Now fast-forward to the present Yr of 2024 when you got Caitlin Clark jersey sales and her different types of revenue shares it's estimated to be over millions of dollars in just the United States it's fair to say Kelsey Plum kinda has a point but the problem is none of these current WNBA superstar Vets are producing the revenue to move the needle to get that type of percentage like the NBA?🤷
People on here saying they haven’t seen any WNBA jerseys being worn, open your eyes, the stands are already full of Fever 22 jerseys everywhere
The misconception is her delusional allegations for a league that doesn't make money.🤦
The real question is what does the revenue even look like ? Let’s discuss that first
With the NBA subsidizing the WNBA for over 25 years, I have never heard a WNBA player show any acknowledgement or at least say "Thank You" to the NBA or to the players. Where's the gratitude?!
WNBA... Please give this athlete 100% of the money from the 5 jerseys that were sold.
Nice comment
😂😂😂
I didn’t even know they sold WNBA jerseys
😂😂😂😅😅😊😊
😂😂😂
The designs for the WNBA jersey are mid, if they can improve the jersey design as a fashion trend, similar to PSG on how the branded the team into fashion.
Then the shared revenue deal would be possible, cause that opens the floor to expand on the NBA/WNBA invetment portfolio
I’d be genuinely shocked if i ever saw someone wearing a wnba jersey
Who buys wnba jerseys? Not even the feminists
No joke i was 20 just last year when i found out there was a wnba😭
The NBA is a different level of skill. The worst NBA team would dominate the best WNBA team any day
I’ve never seen anyone wearing a WNBA jersey in my life
I didn’t even know they sell wnba jerseys!
“Percentage of revenue” would mean every player in the league would be in the hole every year. 😐
Revenue and profit aren’t the same thing. They make revenue it’s just isn’t enough to cover their expenses. So she wants to take the little money they make and give more of it to the players.
That’s like your company doing bad and your employees asking for a raise
@@JohenzWNBA doesn’t make any money!! So tell me how would they get more money?
@@acano774They do make revenue, just not enough to cover their expenses it seems.
Profit = Revenue - Expenses
They’re at a negative profit
The WNBA is a subsidiary of the NBA, imagine your child telling you their allowance should be as much as your biweekly salary 😂
Do we want to talk about how the NBA is a subsidiary of the WNBA?
Nba is on a whole other level than wnba
It feels like a crime against nature to keep alive something that is so clearly dead.
