i just finished lubing my 100 keys keyboard i can barely move my fingers
nah try doing jailhouse modding clicky switches without the proper tools
edit: cuz i did earlier today and even with music it was awful
been lubing almost more than a thousand switches, its therapeutic
I’d love a long video about different types of lubes and whether or not it affects sound or feel.
I’ve tried 2 types of lube. One is G lube by that one brand and then the other is some basic one like he mentioned. The G lube didn’t specify what mixture like the (let’s call it 5070) did. However I think it really comes down to the type of keyboard switch you have. Anything that’s clicky and tactile like razer keyboards i reccomend a lighter thin lube. Where linear switches can get away with a. Slightly thicker lube. I would reccomend looking at different keyboards and the feel the offer. As much as I love the super clicky ones I choose linear after having multiple boards over time and it’s soft quiet and still feels quick to tap. Overall stick with a mid to thin lube thickness. Heavy lubes will lead your key to feel sticky and not fresh and fast.

I never thought that I will be into keyboards.
My keyboard is steelseries m750 tkl. Sound classic with red switch.
I was like, ok, I like it.
Then I ordered some cheap red switch keyboard from temu and sound was amazing. But it was 60% keyboard, so it was a problem.
Then my brother in law showed me how to open switch, to lube and how different it sounds and feel.
I was thinking how to lube non removable red switches on my steelseries.
I got a syringe and lube, pressed the switch and put lube inside and on the side.
It's now the best keyboard ever.

I just lube the main letter keys and skip numpad and other ones I don't use to save time
If you don't use them why not get a smaller keyboard?
@@Pitcher88 Because when you need the numpad, you NEED the numpad. Dealing with layers is a pain in the ass.

yes, u can (and probably should) lube ur stabs no matter what switches u use
