  • On this day we got a combine, a tractor and grain cart, and a corn header, and 3 Kenworths washed! We're wrapping up harvest 2017 and it's time to clean the John Deere! We also got the inside of the grain dryer clean, which is never a fun job.

    One thing about cleaning the batch dryer out is its done in 10 seconds lol.. Hot water pressure washer.. best washer I have bought... 4000psi .. Love it

    We use a vacuvator 1051 to clean out grain bins. Simply a pto driven vacuum. Great for when the augers go down and you need to move grain. Maybe see if anyone around has one to borrow when you need to clean the dryer out.

    We had the same problem with a bin being smaller than we thought. We thought there was enough room in the bin that we could wait until we quit for the day & then switch bins. We were wrong & ended up with about 30 bushels or so on the ground. Thanks for the videos.

    It sounds like the Moline needs a few shots of WD to the seat or maybe the loader controls. You gotta love cleaning out the drier too, one of my jobs as a farm boy in England as well as bin shoveller during loading out as we never had auger floors. It was far from being all champagne and backgammon but I enjoyed it. God rest J.E.B.

    Really like that MM tractor. My wife was watching this with me and she said she would hate to clean the dryer. Of course she’s claustrafobic ha ha. She also said you have dry sense of humor. lol

    Have you ever considered getting Smurf's to do the grain dryer cleanings????
    I read a book when I was younger that said if there's mushrooms around they'll move right in.
    Just get your dogs to keep Gargamel at bay.

    You're a bigger man than I am.
    i Don't let anyone pressure wash anything but the outer panels on my combines, and that's only before they're put to work in the summer. The rest of the time its a 185 cfm compressor.

    I have an idea for cleaning out your dryer pick up a used lawn/leaf vacuum reduce the hose size and use that to vacuum out everything then all you have to do is dump it in the field and you have less mess to deal with and less of it winds up on you

    Nothing a 10 gal Shop Vac couldn't handle, just kidding. We farmed 3 1/2 sections of mostly wheat and some corn. Man when you were plowing off that combine I started itching just thinking about wheat chaff LoL. When I was a kid we only had an open platform 12' Case so not only did I itch but my face and arms were caked with dirt and chaff

    Love the Minnie Mouse. Find you a utility contractor in your area that has a vac trailer to clean out your grain dryer. A vac will take you minutes instead of hours. Love the channel dude.

    There's a great solution for you around your concrete pad...Get 4 loads of regular river rock. Works great. Pack it down 4 or 5 inches. I use to get it out of Wisconsin.

    Nice video, pretty cool to have this extra work force for cleaning. Yes i must say that cleaning the dryer is, well not the the best job. One time i got it all frosen so it wasn´t cleaned until the year after.
